i have logged more time in a dentist's chair than anyone i know. i found myself in stensvad's chair by accident. he was the closest to my house, came recomended, and i needed a tooth pulled that day. it costed more than i was used to and i have NO insurance! he is worth it! he since has rebuilt my mouth piece by piece and i even look forward to going. he is the best dentist ever! i see a few negative revues on here and i can tell you, those people wouldnt have been happy anyway and i'm sure he's glad you don't come back either!

Poor workmanship. I had to have my crown re-done by another dentist. The receptionist is very rude and hard to deal with.

Fabulous positive experience....from the moment of walking in the door and being greeted by front desk staff and/or Dr. Stensvad himself. Relaxing appointment with congenial, warm and friendly staff. Totally comfortable. Dr. Stensvad is funny, personable and totally professionally competent. He and all staff remember everything about their patients from visit to visit. It's a pleasure to visit the dentist!
About Hygienist: Shea, Arlyse, Tammy, Sue, Denise are treasures! So is Debbie the receptionist.

Dr. Aaron is one of the best dentists I have seen. I have complete trust in him and his staff. He is professional, caring, and fun!

After several "bad" experiences with dentists in Portland, what a relief to see a great dentist. Smart, funny, knowledgeable and patient! What more could you ask for?

Extremely friendly, no pressure to purchase anything or have expensive procedures. I've been seeing these hygentists my whole life and they've always been extremely pleasant, professional, and gentle.

Great cleaning, really helpful hygenists. They used high tech cameras in my mouth to show me problem areas and where i could do better on my cleaning. I don't have dental insurance and a first visit was $220. I will be back.
