I've been seeing Dr. Ort since I moved to San Francisco in 1979, and I have nothing but good things to say.
I moved to the North Bay four years ago, and still come in to the City to see him! I can't imagine having to find another dentist, ever!
His staff have always been friendly and competent.

Communicates well about situation and procedures, very patient with questions. Doesn't push ancillary procedures (whitening, etc.). Great success in adjusting bite for comfort.
About Hygienist: No complaints about any of the hygienists there over the years. Nice people in this offic.

Dr. Ort is wonderful at explaining my options and letting me decide what is best. He is very gentle and kind and I was impressed because before I came to his office I had some bad experiences. He put me at ease and really listened to my needs. His staff was efficient and friendly. Dr. Ort did not tell me to floss but gave me the information I needed to want to floss.
About Hygienist: Jan is very careful and considerate. A very friendly experience.

Ort is honest, tries to explain the reasons for everything well, has a pleasant personality, and is extremely competent.
I had had many dentists in the cities I lived in. Ort is far and away the best I've had.
He gets an unqualified thumbs up -- two thumbs up.

I've been going to Dr. Ort for a few years now and I've never had an issue. He's very nice, my kids love him, and I've recommend him to several friends whom all love him.
I think he does all common procedures (I only have cleanings, check-ups, occasional cavity filling and once a root-canal) and they always take care of my insurance. Parking is a little hard around his office, but other than that it's wonderful!

He has been my dentist, and my wife's dentist, for many years. He is simply the best. Very kind, gentle, and an expert craftsman.

Dr. Ort is outstanding! He is very consertative, with a real prevention orientation. His dental hygenists are very thorough -- if you don't take great care of your teeth, they will know. They really get into every part of every tooth, which is not always comfortable, but much better than developing a cavity. His office staff is very friendly as well.
