I went to a previous dentist and she wanted me to replace all of my fillings with the "white" fillings because she said, "these are better than the silver fillings". However, when she went to replace the one filling, it became infected and it was painful. I went to Dr. Dishler and he replaced the filling back to the silver and said that not all patients do well with white fillings. He then replaced the filling and it is much better. He also makes sure not to hurt the patient, he is very gentle. I am now having Dr. Dishler replace all my fillings from now on. He is very conservative in his decisions - he is an awesome dentist!
