Dr burchman is always in such a rush that he does not do good work. I had 3 root canals done by him that ended up getting more infected later that 1 was pulled and the other 2 had to be redone by a Endodonist, who said who did your original root canal, when I said Dr.Burchman he said Oh...Like he knew. I am not the only one 2 other members of my family have had similar problems with him. I no longer go to him, I finally wised up. He does work without explaining how much it will cost which to some of us is important. I guess I went to him for so long because he offers Nitros Oxide which is nice for major work..Don't trust him......

Often keeps you waiting. Talks too much to patients about unimportant matters when other patients are waiting. He is not a perfectionist when it comes to his work -- which is not a good thing. Nice guy to his patients, but can be mean to his staff. Some of the staff is not very competent.
About Hygienist: Dr. Burchman does the cleaning himself.

After 4 or 5 procedures only only half were succsessful.
An enormous expense was invested with Dr. Burchman and the results of root canal, core and cap. were a disaster to the point where I'm losing a tooth due to poor and incorrect treatment. Everything he's done, made my teeth look worse.
Perhaps he should focus more on his practice and less on tv commercials.

Great doc and great guy!! Crowns are smooth and strong. I recommend him fully!

This dentist does not have time for you. He runs around 3-4 patients at a time and does everything in a great hurry. Although he uses modern equipment, the quality of work is sometimes poor. And he tries to sell you unnecessary services like crowns instead of fillings. He recommended me 3 crowns, but then other dentist used fillings instead with no problems after more than 1 year. His own fillings were later found to be of bad quality. However, his crown is still fine after 3 years. And it is expensive, he always charges way more than insurance pays.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Burchmans for several years. All fillings preformed relating to 1-3 surfaces have inflicted ZERO pain. Often the filling is not noticeable due to tooth/filling color matching!
Dr. Burchman has performed two root canals on me. Each yielded pain and some temporary swelling; hence the reason Im awake tonight. He prescribed 2400MG of Ibuprofen and 2000MG of penicillin daily for pain and infection. Ive increased my intake of Ibuprofen by 1200MG daily (6 Advil gel caps) to feel some relief from the discomfort.
Semi-annually Dr. Burchman invests in new equipment and laser technology. This has spoiled me, especially relating to minor surface fillings, because often a laser is used and not a drill. At times when a drill is used, as with a root-canal, I want to cry, cant sleep and possibly exaggerate the pain after a procedure.
Ive gone to roughly five dentists in my lifetime. I must state that Dr. Burchman is the only one whom Ive ever gone back to more then once. He is friendly, informative and a lifetime learner relating to the field of dentistry. Dr. Burchman is a keeper!
