Excellent dentist, with a friendly calm manner, a great staff. Have used him for years, taken my kid to him. A friend who hates going to the dentist, and hadn't gone for YEARS went to Dr. Lammer and was comfortable and put at ease by him.

I've been seeing Dr. Lammer for over 20 years. I changed insurances a couple of times, and had to be treated by other dentists (this was on 2 occations, reasons: insurance change & I moved 1 hour away from his office). Both times were a nightmare!
I happily drive an hour each direction & pay out of pocket when needed to see Dr. Lammer. He not only does an excellent job, but he puts me at ease, explains things clearly & I always have an overall pleasant experience at his office.
His staff is very friendly & have been great with my young children too. Our family love him & his staff.
About Hygienist: Always a pleasure with his hygienists. I haven't had to wait long & they have been great with my young (and feisty) children. I have always experienced a gentle, yet thorough cleaning.

Dr. Lammer is a wonderful dentist with an excellent ability to make his patients feel comfortable and at ease. The work he did has been excellent with no problems. He treats my whole family.

Like many people, I have had a life-long dislike for dental visits. Jay Lammer makes going to the dentist almost pleasant. His manner is congenial, he is very attentive to pain management, and works efficiently. He is always upfront about the pros and cons of a given treatment, and never tries to push a particular technique or treatment on his patients. I am so fond of him as a person and a professional that I am willing to pay for his work myself, rather than going to a dentist approved by the insurance I have through work, and am willing to travel from my home in Center City to Narberth to see him.. He is always ready to cope with emergencies, and is one of the few medical professionals I have had who will call the patient to see how he is faring after a difficult procedure. His hygienist shares his virtues, and his office staff is as friendly and efficient as he is. While I can't honestly say I look forward to visiting the dentist, Jay and his staff make the visit as pleasant as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
