The hygienists and front desk at Dr. Schmid are always incredibly friendly and do a great job of making you feel welcome! I love Ann, but when she's not available, the other hygienists seem good too. I get cleanings every 6 months, and they are generally not all that painful. The office is neat and though the waiting room is fairly small, it does have some games to keep kids occupied, and usually has a Reader's Digest!
Dr. Schmid filled a cavity painlessly. I've become increasingly displeased with his chair-side manner, however--I am in my mid-twenties, but he treats me like a child (he even literally said that I was a kid when he found out how old I was). And when my mother came in for her own cleaning and asked him, he shared personal information about my dental history with her, as if I were a minor.
Dr. Schmid's hygienists are wonderful, and Dr. Schmid does a proficient job filling cavities. I don't believe he performs any extravagant procedures. I do have decent dental insurance, but I have had few out-of-pocket costs.
