Dr. Abate is the best. I have gone to him for several years and have always been satisfied. He recently sold his practice. Does anyone know where he went?

I have been gonig to Joseph for 3 years and he's excellent. I don't dread it at all. He is quite comprehensive, and is keyed toward a more holistic approach. Cant recommend him enough

This dentist is great because he's relatively young and up-to-date with the latest dental technology yet operates his practice in an old-fashioned family oriented way with personal service and a genuine concern for his patient. I have been a patient of Dr Abate for four years.

I have been a patient of dr. abate's for a couple of years now. He never overbooks his patients, i never have to wait very long, and his receptionist was a very funny and sweet woman. His location in south philly is a negative for this center-cityite, but it's definitely worth the trip. I've had my entire mouth of fillings replaced by the doctor and didnt have a single complication. i have never had such a great cleaning. i have recommended many friends, and i will continue to do so.

The Dr. is a very nice guy, too nice. During my treament period my tounge was cut with his drill, my temporary crown fell off during dinner, and his receptionist was stealing checks and money from the Dr. This effected me because all of the sudden my bill was over my ins. claim amount and the Dr. put me into collections for this. During my visits there were several customers who were in my situation fighting and arguing over the exact same issue. I guess I should have seen that as a sign and left. Dr. Abate has one of the best bed side manors that I have seen, but as a dentist almost every visit had a complication, such as my mouth went into shock, extream swelling, and infection and pain due to the cutting of my tounge. Maybee I should have taken him to court like he took me to a collection agency.
