I stumbled on this using google to find Dr. Hornings exact address to pass on to a colleague. I've been going there for 15 years, know where the offices are, but not the exact street number.
I could tell a number of stories, but i'll sum it up that in 30 years in Pittsburgh i've never seen a dentist who is as professional and who also runs a very professional staff and office.
However, that's the basics, about 8 years ago my (then) 15 year old son had a very bad soccer injury, jaw broken in two places, requiring (as it turns out) about 5 years worth of operations, including a bone graft into the jaw. While Dr. Horning did the end game, making and installing two implants, she provided us with information and access to a great oral surgeon who did the reconstruction and she followed up at all stages. This included recommendations to hold off on implants until my son was older (19) and without her constant communication we would have been lost. As parents what do we know about the best course of action?
At no time did Dr. Horning charge us for this service, in fact, several times this was done behind the scenes with her in consultation with the oral surgeon.
Dr. Horning is an unusual caring professional.
About Hygienist: Dr Hornings hygienist staff is quite good and professional. The office vibe is very friendly and easy going, After a visit my teeth are clean, with a minimum of gum pain.
