I have been going to the Doc for 36 years. We talk about cars and other things when I can get a word in. Dr. Kate is awesome and well trained. We recently looked over my chart in January to see when I started there and he noticed I have a filling from the 80's. Never had a filling fall out. He has done 4 molar crowns and they are trouble-free. I got stuck getting a crown in Vegas after a restaurant incident. I later found out that I could have flown back to Pittsburgh, had Doctor Mucha do the crown, and flown back to Vegas and still pocketed $400 compared to what the Vegas dentist charged, which was over twice what Dr. Mucha would have charged
He is so good with fillings that I don't have him use novacaine. Once he explained that any pain was from the heat of the drill and he was not going to drill into my nerve, I was a lot more comfortable with any discomfort.
The waiting room is tiny, so I imagine they may have to put some chairs out in the building lobby going forward.
Always remember the Doc's advice. Only floss the teeth you want to keep.

He,his daughter Dr. Kathryn are the best .And I have been in the dentist chair for many years. The support staff are all wonderful, organized and caring. It is the first time in my life where I sat down in the dentist's chair, relaxed,and turned it over to the professionals with complete ease and confidence! And an office full of Beautiful Smiles! I was completely worry free and have a beautify smile! You can reach them always, very good to know, especially when you are "loosing it". 5 stars!

Have gone too dr Mucha for approx 5 years. Had several fillings replaced. Fillings he replaced would contonuously fall out within a year. Always sensed that he was rushing and not thorough. Never felt that his facilities were clean. Found a new dentist and my suspecions were correct, that I needed more work than Dr Mucha performed. Very rushed and not flexible with schedule.Bedside manner is very abrupt. A very pompass individual. Daughter is taking over the practice, and very inexperiecned. I overall I would not recommend.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Mucha for years now - we consider him a friend and a great dentist - he and Debbie, his assistant, are always pleasant - and do a fantastic job in keeiping our teeth looking great. We could not imagine being with any other dentist!

Dr. Mucha is such a great denist and has a fantastic "bedside" manner inwhich he can cast all dentist fears aside!!! He took care of my kids when they were 5 and 7 years old and they refused to go see any other denist!!! Now my grand daughter is under his care. Me, having a fe ar of denists, finally got me in his chair!! He does his best to save my teeth (dry mouth due to meds has done a lot of damage). Also, I always enjoy whenever I take myself or kids to him so he can share his knowledge of new dental tech, etc. I recommend anybody, any age to go to see Dr. Mucha. He has a wonderful staff!!! Debbie is his hygienist and Jane works the front desk. I go to the Homestead office. And, since that is street parking....Jane will give you the quarters you need to park!!! **Also, he brings me in an hour before my appointment since it takes me so long to take the effects of the novacaine.
About Hygienist: Debbie is wonderful!!! She is very good at her job and truly cares about her patients. Since I've been a patient for so long, we have developed a very nice relationship in which she feels like a good friend as well as my hygienist. Also, looks out for me when recommending me out to an oral surgeon (one that was more affordable and I felt just as comforable with as Dr. Mucha!!!
