The best dentist my wife and I have known. Very thorough, experienced, caring, and cost-conscious for patient. We now live in a foreign country but come to see him. We highly recommend him.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST!!! I went to Dr. Wiesenthal with tooth pain. He successfully determined the cause and decided I would probably need a root canal. It was my bottom molar furthest in the back (I already had my wisdom teeth removed). I asked if it was possible to just pull the tooth instead of dealing with a root canal; it was, afterall, the last tooth. He told me "no," that my teeth would shift horribly and I'd need braces. I have since had confirmed from 3 dentists (including the one who finally pulled the tooth) that this was not the case at all because it's the last tooth, there is no tooth behind it to push it forward. Why would he do this? Root canals are much more expensive than extractions, of course! In addition to dealing with the hassle and pain of a root canal, I also had to deal with his shoddy work. The crown he put in fell out in LESS THAN 2 YEARS! I paid a lot of money for him to put in the crown and it definitely should have lasted MUCH longer. He is rude, does not fully explain what he'll be doing (he conveniently didn't mention a crown until I'd already had the root canal; this is not common knowledge if you've never had one) and does shoddy work.

Nice guy, doesnt push xrays just to bill insurance. Friendly atmosphere.
