Dr Trachtenberg is a superb dentist.
He has treated my family for twenty years, and my parents come from Florida twice a year to see him.
He's gentle and knows what he's doing.
His office scheduling is unusually prompt.
He knows when to refer to the specialist, and, if he does, he explains why he's making the referral.
--minimize pain
--save teeth.

About Hygienist: The hygienists at Dr T's office are warm, welcoming and professional. All of them.

Worst dentist in the area. I would not recommend him to anyone. I have to go to him because he is the only one who accepts my terrible insurance. He "fixed" some problem teeth with bonding in the front and now I have permanent staining on one of my front teeth. He blames it on everything else except his shoddy work. He doesn't care about his patients at all. I take very good care of my teeth and I did not have this problem until he "fixed" it. Now he is suggesting veneers for my front teeth to the tune of $3K, not covered under insurance because it is considered cosmetic. Fix my teeth, don't try to sell me something to cover up your terrible work!!!!

About Hygienist: Good hygienist, cleaned my teeth and tried to remove the staining on my front teeth the best she could. No complaints here.

Dr. Trachtenberg is very good and has an excellent staff. My wife and I have never had a problem after any work was done by Dr. Trachtenberg. JM

Seems like a nice practice, very good staff, etc. BUT too many referals to outside specialists at hint of a problem, too anxious to do expensive crowns, mixed success with outcome. Some painful problems.
