Left my husband waiting in the waiting room for about 1 hour, and then came out to tell him he wouldn't see him that day. He offered no apology for keeping him waiting. My husband was getting dental work done at another dental practice. He needed to have a root that was still in his gum removed, and the practice he was going to didn't do extractions. Dr. Oberman said he would do the extraction only if he could do all the dental work that my husband needed to have done. That told me that he didn't put people before money.

About Front Desk: Merle and Tracy are very nice. Always polite and helpful.

About Hygienist: The hygienists were always very good.

This dentist IS the reason I have a phobia of dental work! I haven't seen him in YEARS and thank GOD I made that decision. I had a root canal done when I was 17 years old, I am 39 now, only to find out that his shoddy work has made it's presence known YET again. The root canal FAILED! He never completed the root canal! Or maybe my body miraculously started to make a root in my tooth again. I have Dr Oberman to thank for the excruciating pain I've been in for the past five days. Having to go through this procedure all over again AND the cost of repairing YOUR error is hard to swallow! You were never a nice man and your chair side manor was horrific. Thanks for the forever anxiety I have when I sit in any dental chair! Because, YOUR to blame.

I went to the doctor's office so for a routine cleaning. It was my first visit to his office because I had recently switched dental insurance. I was not given a cleaning, but rather x-rays only which the doctor informed me showed that I had two cavities and would need fillings. I asked about the cleaning and he said that I would need to have the fillings done first. Since I had not had a cavity since I was a child I was certainly surprised that I had two on this visit so I decided to get a second opinion. I got two second opinions and both Dentists were adamant that I had no cavities. I am so disheartened that you just can't trust dentists anymore. It's a good thing that we have the internet to keep each other informed! It's up to the consumer to keep our service providers honest!

I agree with the other patient. He reccomended fillings for me. I got a second opinion and was told that the fillings he reccomended were unneccassary. Find a different dentist! Sincerely, Rob Willow Grove

This dentist (Dr. Oberman) has the ugly habit of replacing fillings without approval and without a replacement being necessary. My wife needed a comestic procedure on one tooth. An employee of Dr. Oberman also recommended replacement of one filling, a crown on another tooth beside the cosmetic procedure. One week later Dr. Oberman himself takes over replacing additional 4 fillings, as said without approval or necessity, claming it was a correct judgement. Since it's difficult to reverse such an operation Dr. Oberman ripped me for an extra 182,- dollars. On top of that, the temporary crown just fell of for no particular reason so we had to waste time going back before the permanent crown could be placed. Our strong recommendation is to take your business somewhere else.
