Not a friendly dentist, and no bedside manner. Sub par dental work. I had my crowns that he put in replaced, since his fell out. No problems since current, much better dentist replaced them. The last straw was when I arrived 10 minutes late to my appointment, not sure if I could still get in or not. I walked in, no one at front desk, but Dr and assistant both looked me in the eye from behind the front desk. I expected someone to appear and let me know if I was too late. No one walked out after watching me sign in and sit down. I waited over an hour, but was glad that, evidently, they could still fit me in-I was ok with waiting over an hour, as I was late. Dr walked out after the patient left, saying I'd had to reschedule, as I arrived late. So unprofessional and rude to see me, but not acknowledge a patient for over an hour, them non chalantly say what I noted above. Glad to lose that unpleasant "dentist", as I have s wonderful, professional, dentist, who takes great care of my teeth! My new dentist also has an attentive, friendly front desk staff.
About Front Desk: They should be at the front desk, not multitasking as a hygienist.

I had a root canal done almost 3 years ago and it got infected twice. I went to a new dentist and I had to get that tooth extracted he found a piece of a file sticking out of tooth. No wonder I was in so much pain. I do not suggest ever going back either.

He and his staff, are friendly, intelligent and put you at ease. he is straight to the point, not fluffy nor stuffy! I like his style.

My sister in law recommended Dr. Lienau to our family when our dentist moved from our area in N. Phx. He was our dentist until we moved from Phoenix. My daughters in town still go to him. Excellent availability, reasonable pricing and he's the best. Would highly recommend Dr. L to everyone.

Best dentist in arizona! Pain - free. I had a great experience with Dr. Lienau after many dentists that I actually feared going too - A+

Dr. Lienau tells it like it is and is trustworthy - only complaint seems to be the same with all dentists is cleanings have to be scheduled months in advance - when you do work out of town its almost impossible to keep an appointment made so far out

Dr. Lienau has been a dentist in the Phoenix area for a very long time, is well known, and just the best! He's the dentist all my family and friends use. He's also a super good person.
