I recently had some cavities filled by Dr. Wagner and began to experience an obscene amount of pain. I went to Dr. Wagner and he had no idea why I was having the pain but sent me away with antibiotics and pain meds and told me two random stories of two patients that he did a root canal for that ended up in the hospital and had their tooth extracted (why he told me this I have no idea). After a few days I still had pain and went back to his office. He didn't even have the courtesy to see me again but the receptionist gave me a referral to an endodontist an hour away (someone he went to school with). I'm now having to pay to have a root canal because Dr. Wagner either drilled too much of my cavity or didn't fill the tooth properly. I went to him with no pain and the information that I had 2 cavities. I left him with 5 cavities that were filled, an extreme amount of pain, and a root canal. Thank God for Palmetto Endodontics who is going to help me but I definitely would not recommend Dr. Wagner at Wesmark FAmily Dentistry.

I had a root canal done Which Dr. Hurst thought the nerves were dead and try to do it without any anesthesia are numbing the area first which sent me almost out of my chair do to the pain! On top of all that the cost is completely outrageous and now he wants you to pay for insurance on his work! Obviously he doesn't stand by his own work if he's trying to charge and extra $121 of insurance to cover anything he may mess up on your mouth! I've Never heard of such thing and as many dentist as I've been to nor have I had any other dentist do such thing!Also, After seeing this dentist I was talking to a friend and did not realize he was the dentist that was charged with molesting my friends 9 year old son!!! As a Christian I would highly recommend those that are reading this think twice before they go to this dentist!!!
About Front Desk: Some of the front desk staff are okay to deal with and a couple are quite rude!!
About Hygienist: All the hygenist want to do is sit around and talk to each other Which I think is very unprofessional!!!
