My family and I have been going to Dr. Bates and his staff for more than 25 years, husband, 3 children (adults now and not going anymore) and myself. It is a family atmosphere, I know his wife, son and daughter because they have all worked there. Dr. Bates, whom I call Eddie, knows that my funds are limited and always keeps that in mind when suggesting procedures. He is always punctual and if I have an urgent situation his office always works me in. I don't know if he is more expensive than other dentists because I have not been to another dentist in over 25 years. I do highly recommend Dr. Bates and have for many years. Chair-side manners are great , always successful treatments, less pain than any other dentist I have ever seen.
About Hygienist: the hygienists seem to change often but most of them are mothers and part-time personnel. It is extremely sterile in the exam rooms which I really feel comfortable in. they always do a good job and keep me up to date with my cleanings, x rays and exams.
