Lots of pain during procedures. He travels a lot and sometimes tough to get in contact with. Got an infection in a crowned tooth that he replaced. Didn't exactly do the cosmetic improvements that were my priorites, however, I do get a lot of complements.

I just received 7 veneers and 4 crowns and keep getting compliments for my smile from everyone!
I had been unhappy about my "natural" smile for 20 years, and when I started inquiring about my options, I came across Dr. Rabanus' very informative website. From the get-go, he was very responsive and with the first consultation it became clear that I was going to be in trustworthy hands. While comparatively his prices are well in the ballpark, the magnitutde of the project for me required patient financing, which was easy and hasslefree to get. We started with gum surgery, then preparation of the teeth, and recently the placement of the veneers. My gums were a bit sore for a couple of weeks after the preparation, but nothing that a bit of ibuprofin didn't take complete care of. The last two session took 5-7 hours each, and I felt completely at ease with the process at all times. Dr. Rabanus is a perfectionist who will leave absolutely nothing to chance. This is a major undertaking and I can't stress enough the importance of working with someone you can trust. The results Dr. Rabanus produces speak for themselves.

I have had 8 veneers fitted and the results are better than I ever imagined. I did a lot of research before deciding to have a consultation with Dr Rabanus. I was particularly impressed with his informative website and his prompt responses to my emailed questions.
Deciding to have the work done was a huge decision, but after meeting him at his surgery, Dr Rabanus quickly put my husband and I at ease. We had flown to San Fran on holiday from Germany and had limited time. Dr Rabanus explained the treatment options to us, showing us slides and video clips and patiently answered our questions.
The first treatment was a bit of a shock to be honest - I had not expected it to be so uncomfortable and it took a few days for my gums to recover. The second treatment however was much more straightforward and only slightly uncomfortable and the results are incredible. My veneers look like my teeth only 100% better!
Although the veneers felt weird at first, now, about a month later, they truly feel like my own teeth. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Rabanus' manner and professionalism and I am delighted with the results.
Now I can't stop smiling!

I cannot say enough positive about my experience with Dr. Rabanus. Once you meet him, you know you are in the hands of a consummate professional, an expert in his field, and a meticulous perfectionist. I had ten upper teeth restored, 3 were old crowns, the others were veneers, plus gum surgery. Having cosmetic restorative dentistry is a huge decision; it is a lot of money, and you know that you have just one chance to get it right, because you are unlikely to put yourself through it all again. It can be a tough experience, and it takes "teamwork"! You and the doc must work together and communicate. I felt that nothing was more important to Dr. R. than the perfection of my teeth. Every impression was done and redone until it was flawless, the teeth were prepared meticulously, everything checked and re-checked over and over--no short cuts, or feeling that it is "good enough". The lab he uses produces the best product. As far as pain, he is superb with a needle; I had many shots of novocaine and felt none of them. The cost of the work is squarely in the middle of the other estimates I received, and yet I felt the money was more well spent in his hands. I paid for his skills, not office frills. I recommend him very highly .

I considered getting my smile overhauled for many years. However, I knew that it would require some expertise to fix my smile. I also felt a little uneasy about the choices, because I didn't understand many of the options. This changed when I found Dr. Rabanus' website. It informed me about the many facets of cosmetic dentistry and allowed me to understand my own teeth better. I decided to meet the doctor. This was a wonderful experience. Dr. Rabanus took a lot of time to
analyze my smile and describe to me my dental condition in many different angles. I realized that I was in the hands of an expert. Although the prices were a little higher than I expected, I ended up with a smile that I didn't even know I could have. Most importantly, it looks so natural that I sometimes forget that I have porcelain veneers in my mouth.
