My fiancé has been going to Dr. Shemancik's office for several years. With a recent change in my dental insurance, I made the switch as well. My experience so far has involved the placement of a traditional implant, abutment, and crown. Throughout the process, Dr. Shemancik has been extremely meticulous and has answered the myriad questions that I have come up with. She is very knowledgeable and patient, and I feel like she doesn't recommend procedures that are unnecessary. Everyone in the office seems to strike a balance of having a good sense of humor while still taking their work seriously. Great office--I feel like I'm in good hands.
About Front Desk: Karen is a fantastic office administrator. She's worked hard to coordinate care with my periodontist. Throughout the whole process, she has been extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to reach.

About Hygienist: Valerie is an extremely thorough Hygienist! She spent an hour with me during my last cleaning. I'm used to 30 minute appointments with hygienists from past dental practices, and was pleased to receive the extra attention.

She is the best dentist that I have ever had. My children (16 and 11) love her also and she really is wonderful. There is nothing bad to say about her, she is friendly and gentle. She has early appoitments and I was able to get to work on time.

Dr. Ellen is the most wonderful dentist you will find in the Nashville area. She has been my dentist for almost five years and I would never consider using anyone else. The office staff is great too and they are just a nice bunch of people to go to for all your dental needs.

Dr. Ellen Shemancik is incredibly knowledgeable and continuously seeking new and better treatments for her patients. The staff is equally qualified and personable. She is up front with discussing treatments, procedures, and costs. I do not feel that she recommends procedures that are unnecessary and she is always trying to find ways to serve her patients in a better way. I highly recommend her especially if you are searching for a family dentist...she is truly compassionate about her profession and her patients.

I have been using Dr Ellen since I moved to Nashville 6 years ago. I have since moved to the opposite side of town from her offices and still make the drive. I am very happy at how personable the people are. They remember me every time I come in and are very encouraging.

Dr. Ellen, as she is called, has excellent training (I investigated) and a team designed to anticipate and meet the individual needs of each patient. The cheerful attitudes and professional skills of the staff persons, a standard set by Dr. Ellen, inspire confidence and make you feel at home. In fact, the whole atmosphere is relaxing like a spa and comfortable like a family--with a little gentle humor thrown in. My dental care, which has really been dental management, has given me a smile I am proud of and teeth that I anticipate will last for the duration. I highly recommend Dr. Ellen and am grateful that I am under her care.

Dr. Shemancik has treated many of my family members and all agree that she and her staff are wonderful!!! She and her staff are competent and caring..........and most important........she can get you painfree without coming out of her chair. Seriously, she is a great dentist, I cannot imagine going to any one else and cannot encourage you enough to call for an appointment.
