I have been going to Dr. Plisky for about 3 years now, twice a year every year. I didnt put a great deal into the search, he was the closest dentist to my place that accepted my insurance!
However, the experience that I had with him has been excellent throughout. It is a personal preference, but I like to be informed of what the doctor is doing and Dr. Plisky makes it a point to pause and tell me what the next couple of steps in the procedure are going to be. I have had a few small cavities and one complicated one - located under the gum line - filled by Dr. Plisky. All these procedures have been as painless (or painful) as any dental procedures.
The support staff is very polite and helpful, I have not had any problems with insurance and billing with their office. They make it a point to check before my appointment if the procedure is covered and if not, what I need to pay for that day.
In all, I have nothing but good things to say about this practice - an excellent experience all around.
About Hygienist: I have been assigned to a specific hygienist for my duration of treatment at this dental practice and I have a very good experience with her. Every time I am in there for a cleaning, very politely she explains to me the importance of flossing every day, and the next time I still am not flossing regularly! Very proficient, polite and helpful in her ways, I am grateful to her for putting up with me!

Dr. Plisky's manner is thoroughly relaxed, yet extremely confident; as a patient, he always puts me at extreme ease. He always advises consderately, i.e., provides a choice, if applicable, as to the procedure that will be the most cost-effective for the long term. He is never arrogant nor "pushy;" and his staff has expressed to me how much they enjoy the atmosphere at the office and working with him. He routinely checks with me when he is performing any type of dental procedure, to make sure that I am as comfortable as possible. He is in my estimation, the perfect family dentist. Regarding cost, his office always discusses my cost and insurance coverage, prior to any procedure; and the front desk is always pleasant and eager to be of help. My dental hygenist at this office has been taking care of me for quite a long while; and she always consults with Dr. Plisky during my routine visits. I am never filled with any dread when a visit to Dr. Plisky is a matter of routine detal health or when it is the result of a dental health problem. I have complete confidence in Dr. Plisky and his staff; and I know that my detal health is of utmost concern to them.

Dr. Pilsky had to create a build up tooth for my 8 year old son (his front tooth was hit and broke in half). He did a great job, noone can tell work was even done (which is great for my son's confidence). My family has been going there for years and would highly recommend him and his staff.
