I completely recommend Dr. Baker. He stays with you until all your questions are answered, without that look of needing to get out of there. He's friendly, not condescending. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgable. They stay abreast of technology, and incorporate the strongest advancements, while weeding out whizbang stuff that doesn't yet work as well as proven options. I've never felt anyone give a shot as painlessly as Dr. Baker. He explained how he does it, and it involves patience. It occurs to me that patience makes a very good doctor.
About Hygienist: I always ask for Julia. The rest of the staff is great, but she blows me away. She's been practicing for 30 years and is extremely knowledgable. She's committed to staying abreast of knowledge in the field and passing it on. She's gentle and friendly, and, like Dr. Baker, always explains what she's doing and what she's seeing.

Excellent Dentist. Very good at the pain injections when doing dental work. I live in Round Rock, work in SW Austin, but still make the drive to NW Austin to see him.
About Hygienist: Hygienists also are fantastic.

Dr. Baker's office is a very relaxing and pleasant place. He has tvs for his patients to watch while they receive their treatments. Dr. Baker is very friendly and does great work. I highly recommend him!

Very pleasant staff. Low stress and very caring doctor. He cares for my children as well and they do not mind going to the dentist. I have been pleased with the care - he doesn't insist that you have treatments that you do not need.

Dr. Baker is amazing. He is friendly and courteous and his staff is amazing. Kim, in the front office... I feel like we're close friends - she never forgets a face and is always so cheerful upon arrival. We have recommended Dr. Baker to so many friends and family. We have been using him since he took over for Dr. Buccholtz, 8 or so years ago. I highly recommend!

Everyone at Dr. Bakers office is wonderful and honest. I love getting my teeth cleened with Julia. She is awesome~ Dr Baker is fantastic and does great work. I highly recommened them.

Dr Baker performed two root canals follwed by two upper front crowns. The cowns FELL OFF on FOUR separate occassions; were of the wrong color and wrong shape. I am being forced to initiate legal action against Dr Baker so that another qualified dentist can re-do these two crowns.
If you live in Westlake, I would strongly suggest that you consider just about any other dentist before even thinking about Dr. David A. Baker !1

Dr. Baker has been wonderful to my whole family. We have recommended him to at least a dozen of our friends and family. His office staff is the friendliest in town.
