I switched my insurance so I had to get a dentist within the network, so I went to dr elisondo.
I went in for the 1st appt, the place was empty and I still waited almost 2 hours to get it all done, and no cleaning was done (they don't do on 1st appt)! I sat and waited forever.
He looked at my teeth and suggested 2 crowns and some other work, total of about $2,000 out of my pocket (after insurance).
Went to another dentist and no crowns were needed, just a small filling in one tooth. For this reason I am leaving this review. Watch out! I had a friend going there and she had the same bad experience and never went back as well!

Called over phone for an appt. due to acute pain. Would not see me even though he is listed as the provider on my dhmo plan. Talked about root canal procedures even without examining the cause of the pain. Out to make money and not compassionate.

The staff is piss poor. They are always changing hygiensts and none ever have a consistent opinion.

Dr. Elizondo is one of the best dentists that I have never experienced. He is very caring and he is a stickler for perfection. He completed a crown on a molar. He advised against a porcelain cap in that area, however he acquiesced to my request. In the end I saw he was right and he did not charge me for the re-work. I highly recommend his work.

Very personable and very sensitive to how much pain I would feel as a patient. The best I have ever had.

Dr. Elizondo is personable and pleasant. The staff is reasonably effective. I have had an issue with miscommunication when referred to a specialist where all my options were not covered prior to being referred. This was frustrating, going back and forth between offices. Additionally the office communicated the WRONG tooth to be worked on in the referral, which could have been disastrous, but was caught before a problem arose.
I suppose this could happen anywhere. I am a patient at this office because it is "In-Network" for my insurance, but overall the practice seems adequate and capable and the facilities are very pleasant and up to date.
About Hygienist: Leanne was my Hygienest and was very pleasant ,did excellent work, and communicated very well. Excellent experience, thorough, personable and I enjoyed the visit.

I had my first visit with Dr Charles today. I was flabergasted by the way I was treated and efficiency of the initial consult. Kudos to the best dental office in the city of Austin!!!

Dr. Elizondo and the staff and are the best in taking care or you and your dental needs. I will definitley recceommend them to family and friends

Dr. Elizondo is the best dentist in Austin. He goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable. I just wish he also did Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The office staff is kind and considerate and treat you like family (in a good way). Thank you Dr. Elizondo and staff for making my dental visits a breeze.
