The best dental care! I have been going to Dr. Katz's office for over 4 years now and love it. The staff is very friendly and professional. They take pride on retaining employess so you see the same hygienist each time. They really take their time and I never feel rushed. It may be priced a little higher priced than others, but you get what you pay for. The quality of service here is worth it to me.

Dr. Katz is our family dentist. During our seven years with him, we have had routine procedures (e.g., teeth cleaned and cavities filled) and complicated procedures. He has put in new caps, replaced aging caps, and put in implants. He sends you to specialists to get the root canals and/or to implant the posts prior to preparing the caps or the visible part of the implants.
His professional skills are excellent. In addition to being current on the medical research and practices in dentistry, he is an artist who produces fake teeth that look very, very real. He is careful and excellent at pain control.
His chair-side manner and those of his assistants are excellent.
We never wait long to get into his office. He files insurance for you but expects payment upfront. If payment upfront is not feasible, he helps you arrange for external financing. His fees are somewhat above the average for the Austin area, but they are worth it.
His offices are crisp, modern, and comfortable. (Really, like a health spa or 5-star hotel? That's what you think a dentist office should be? That's silly.)
We highly recommend him with no reservations.

I have a serious phobia about dental work and have had to get a lot of work done--root canals, extractions, bridges--over the years. Jerry is the *only* dentist I know who really does provide pretty much pain-free procedures. He doesn't use drugs (other than Novocaine) or nitrous, but he is very gentle and patient. In the past, he's come in over the weekend when I've had an emergency. He is courteous, caring, and an all-round good guy. He's been named Texas Dentist of the Year multiple times. His employees are equally excellent, from the front-desk staff to the hygienists. All very friendly and professional . Five I moved from Austin to West Texas--600 miles away, and Jerry Katz is still the only dentist I would consider seeing. I was told this week that I need some dental work, and while there are probably fine dentist's in El Paso or Midland (the two closest cities to where I live) I would rather spend the money and take the time to go to Austin and see Dr. Katz instead of putting myself in the hands of someone I don't know. I highly recommend him for any kind of general dentistry. He isn't an endodontist--doesn't do the more involved oral surgeries--but he works with the best endodontists in town, and he won't steer you wrong.

This is the best dentist in Austin. Superb technically and very very friendly office. Good injections, excellent esthetics.

The best exam I have ever had in 40 years. I wonder what all the other Dentists had been doing when I opened my mouth. Thank goodness I moved to Austin.
Current and up to date, yet the old school charm that is hard to find. Was not just a number, but a patient who had the full attention of the Dr. when I was in the chair.

Dr. Katz is a good dentist. My hygenist at his office is also great. He is very busy, so you will wait.

Awesome!!!!! Love him! Took care of a real issue for me with my grinding and found my "homebase." He is gentle and very professional! A visit to him is a very pleasant experience.......
