Dr. Y has a grumpy facade, but a heart of gold. It's obvious that the office staff like working there. Dr. Y referred me to an oral surgeon for my front tooth implant, but was responsible for the finishing crown and matching crown on other front tooth (both front teeth damaged in an accident decades ago).

Kind and personable Dr. Had a cleaning done and once a chipped tooth fixed.
About Hygienist: Very nice as well. Personable and kind.

Professional, well qualified & competent. I have a lot of dental work (English) & wouldn't trust the care of my teeth to anyone else. I am blessed to have found him here in Austin. Dr. Yankelson is all about dental health & not so focused on office aesthetics so I LOVE the uniqueness of his office, his lovely staff & excellent hygienists/assistants. I always enjoy my visits to Dr. Yankelson & believe I'm getting the best treatment/service available. I have recommended Dr. Yankelson to others.

Dr Y and staff are the best ever. I go there stressed out from work and it is like going to get a message even thought it is a dentist office. I feel happy from the great services. The staff have all been there for years, so they always know you and welcome you.
About Hygienist: Very gentle but gets the job done and gives advise on how to keep teeth healthy. Very sweet

I have gone to Dr. Yankelson since I was 6 yrs old--I am almost 36 now. My entire family and I have moved to different places and tried other dentists, but no one has done as good of a job as he has, so we are all back. We simply trust him and the cost is always fair. His office staff is always wonderfully friendly. I live in Houston now and travel to Austin for my appts--it's worth it to me to have things done the right way the first time.

Dr. Yankelson is an excellent dentist and his staff is just great. They really make you feel comfortable, try to accommodate you whenever possible, efficiently keep track of your follow-ups and regularly scheduled cleanings. Even though you may be in pain they are very careful with attending to you. I recall having an emergency and Dr. Yankelson making it a point to see me asap, if I'm not mistaking, it was July 5th when I got my front tooth kicked out, several years back. With Dr, Yankelson there's no beating around the bush, he's straight forward and to the point, and certainly not there to baby you. He gets the job done, quickly and efficiently. As for his receptionist, seems like I've known her forever & she makes you feel that way. I recommend them to my friends and family and tell them to expect total professionalism.
About Hygienist: Appts are kept and you're seen when it's your turn. She is friendly and knowledgeable about what she is doing. Feel great after having my teeth cleaned.

I've been going to Dr. Yankelson for nearly 2 decades, and he's tops in my book. He's excellent with preventive care, has done some fillings for me, and does great work with no pain. One indicator of his excellence is that most of his staff has been with him for years and years and years. They're friendly, professional and very capable.

Dr. Yankelson is a genuinely nice guy who cares about the patient, not just the teeth. His staff is wonderful ... Mary Lou at the front dest, Cindy as his dental assistant, and Maria as his hygienist.

Dr. Yankelson has a wonderful and laid back attitude towards Dentistry. Everything he does is explained and demonstrated. He has a very good manner about him. Cindy and Mary Lou are the perfect support staff to overall good medical care. Keep up the good work and don't retire any time soon!
