Good dentist but out of network and very expensive. I had to pay way more than my insurance would cover for basic services such as cleanings and xrays. Stopped going for that reason.

Procedures: checkups, cleanings, multiple filling replacements.
Treatment success: excellent.
Pain: low, and I am a giant chicken. I do recommend making sure you wait enough time to properly numb up of course.
Cost: not in anyone's network (but treats you as if insurance were paying exclusively, I got the feeling), so upshot is probably high. I've considered it worth it.
Insurance help: good for me but I haven't been complicated.
Chair-side manner, office staff great.
Strongly recommend.
About Hygienist: Gina seems technically great. She can be moody but very pleasant if she is in good spirits.

I first met Dr. Allen when I had a dental emergency the day before leaving for Europe. I officed in the same building, and called him at 4:00PM after a molar exploded. I explained my situation and he saw me immediately and made a temporary fix - he worked with me until well after 6:00PM. Absolutely saved our family vacation! I left my prior dentist of 45 years to become a permanent patient of Dr. Allen. I've had several crowns and one implant done - virtually pain free. My family is now getting dental care from him, as well. It's worth the drive to Plaza of the Americas, folks!

I have been a patient with Dr. Allen for more than 10 years. I am a confirmed "dent-a-phobe," but Dr. Allen and his staff take excellent care to make me feel at ease. I now live in Arlington, but continue to travel all the way to Dr. Allen's Dallas office - they are that good. They are patient, kind and always on-time - I definitely recommend them!

I have been going to Dr. Allen since 2001. He and his staff are very professional. I rarely ever have to wait. When they say your appt. is at 9:00, it is at 9:00 and that is wonderful and very uncommon these days with doctor visits. I have had extensive work done by Dr. Allen and his staff and they have done a great job with minimal pain or problems. I highly recommend Dr. Allen.

I have seen Dr. Allen since moving to Dallas in 1988. He has always provided first class service and effective treaments, often seeing me on short notice as I came back for visits from overseas. Solid staff, helpful with insurance, and excellent chair side manner. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Allen has taken care of my teeth since 1997. As I have had to use another dentist at one point or another (referrals, ect) they always comment on the excellent work in my mouth.
Dr. Allen is very understanding of the financial end of things and will help you find the best solution without compromising the quality of the work done.
As well, his staff is professional and kind. The dental hygienist, Gina, is really fantastic. His office staff is knowledgeable and treats you with respect.
