very pleasant dentist experience. extremely helpful and friendly and professional. all the staff were. they were very accepting of my "alternative lifestyle" (i have a lot of facial piercings that required a little bit of work around but everyone was very understanding and non judgmental) i would go back in a second! highly recommended!
About Hygienist: also very helpful and friendly. again extremely understanding of my condition and style.

Dr. Merchant is an excellent dental physician. He knows how to destress me when I freak out about my teeth. He has gotten me on the right track with my dental plan, and even calls to see how things are going. Great Dentist!

This was my first trip to Dr. Merchant and I will not go back. He did not even introduce himself or ask me about my dental history except to ask how long ago my last cleaning was. He did not recommend any home care suggestions and his cleaning of my teeth was very rushed and painful. Outside of the procedure, it took close to an hour from the time I finished filling out the new patient paperwork to the time that the dentist actually walked into the room (which has no door on it). The entire facility is not well-situated and was very mildewy (odd in Phoenix).
