My husband and I have both been to Dr. Leftkowitz as well as our daughter. We get in right away when calling for an appt. I have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes once in the office and he is the most reasonable dentist I have been too. I called two days ago to get my daughters cavities filled. They got me in two days later on the day I requested. They took her right back and she was done in less than an hour. She had five cavities filled and the bill was 140 with our insurance. I love going to Dr. Leftkowitz.

Took my six year old daughter in to get her cavities filled. They would'nt allow me to go back with her to keep her claim. They numbed her lip and gave her a shot in one side of her mouth. They came out and said " they wouldn't precede with filling her cavities because she moved her head". My daughter wasn't even crying at this point just really confused on why they stopped and didn't fix her teeth. They gave me a slip and told me to go to another dentist. I left and tired to schedule an appointment with the other dentist office. They told me it would be another month before they could exam her or even fill her cavities. I called back Marc Lefkowitz office to tell them what the other dentist office had said. I wanted to see if there was anyway i could go back there with my daughter so they could fill her cavities. They told me that wasn't possible they feel it's a bad idea to have the parents back there. I told them well ya'll pretty much screwed us now we have to wait another month to get her cavities filled and pay out of pocket for another exam because we used up all our exams on the insurance already. They told me that wasn't their problem and it was my daughter's fault for turning her head and not sitting prefectly still.
About Hygienist: They told us on the phone that Marc Lefkowitz was good with children. Obviously that was a LIE whatever you do don't take your children here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came in for a re-filling. I told him that I was 6 weeks pregnant. He looked in my mouth with his mirror and said that he would rather wait until after the baby which I was alright with. When I was leaving, I found out that he charged a comprehensive exam to my insurance. All he did was look in my mouth with a mirror- nothing else. I was charged a copay too.
I work with patients and I would have not charged any patient I did not perform a service on.
