Intraoral-complete series was done. No pain! Chair-side manners were outstanding.Dr.Chavarria is a lay back person. He takes time to get to know you. Its been awhile,since, i have seen a dentist. He was just happy, i was able to get over my fears and he was ready to get started on fixing the problems i had. My other dentist made me feel nervous and he had no personality.He was also terrible in giving shots...too much pain.

I was so nervous going to see the Dentist because of all the horror stories I heard from people about their bad experience with other doctors. All the staff was pleasant and very courtious. Dr. Chavarria is a calm person with a soft demeanor. I had a wonderful experience and had no pain during the extraction of a wisdom tooth. He was extremely delicate, provided explanation and direction while performing the procedure.
He is going to heaven with shoes on!

About Hygienist: Very good and attentive to my needs. He provided detail instruction on how to care for the wound. From the time I called to make the appointment to the time that I walked out of the office I was treated with quality professionalism, respect, and courtesy. Excellent customer service!!!

Dr. Chavarria has treated all of my family members. He is like family. His chairside manner is great. He has had many hygenists. That would be our only complaint. His office is accessible. It is a simple modern facility and most of all, it is clean. As far as billling he is trusting, and always bills our insurance in a timely manner. We are kept informed, and all questions are fielded and addressed immediately.
His wife Helen oversees the front desk often, and maintains a pleasant and helpful atmosphere, adding to the feeling of family and friendliness.
It's great to have dependable reminders about appointments in this busy world, and billing that is not a cryptogram.
I worked for the State of Texas Health Steps program and my husband worked for the City Health Department. In both areas Dr. Chavarria was highly regarded and known for his professionalism and compassion for those in need.
Dr. Chavarria offers basic dental services. For gum disease and orthodontics you can be referred through his office or find someone on your own.

This was my second dentist in the el paso area. I don't know why I put up with bad service with my first dentist but Dr. Chavarria was recommended by two co-workers and I was not disappointed. Great "chair-side" manner and office personnel as well as assistants very pleasant. The only negative is that I thought the flouride rinse was over-priced.
