i can't really compare a visit to the dentist to a health spa or hotel. i recently moved to SF and i've been searching for a new dentist. i had a seriously BAD experience somewhere else which is why i want to say how much i just love my new dentist: Dr. Rexan. she is very kind and gentle. the office is small and personal. Dr. Rexan has the latest in dental technology. i didn't realize how much had changed in dentistry as i have only ever visited our small town family dentist. i'm glad to be receiving the best in modern care and so glad i found Dr. Rexan.

My two visits to Dr Rexan were very relaxing. The whole experience is like going to a spa. The entire staff are polite, understanding, and kind even when they are busy. The front desk is helpful with insurance questions and will jump through most of the hoops for you so you don't waste your time there by making the time and money cost as little as possible to the patients. When you go in for the examination the chair is positioned so you can see the street corner of Fillmore and Union St. The assistant offers you chapstick, a warm pillow, and a lavender sented patch to clip on to your bib as you sit down. Then you can gaze out the window while soft music plays in the background while you wait for the dentist. The dentist and assistants do everything to make sure you experience as little pain and discomfort as possible during the exam. In addition, Dr Rexan thoroughly explains all procedures as she does them so there is no confusion or awkwardness. The hygienist is friendly and also offers a whole dental care package to each patient. I definately recommend this dentist to anyone.
