I have recently changed dentists to Dr. Scott after being at a dentist for 11 years. I found Dr scott and his staff friendly and very helpfull. They went above their jobs when it came to my insurance and my procedure was excellent and I love my smile. I highly recommend him. My entire family are all now patients of Dr. Scott's.

Dr. Scott seems knowledgeable, however, his office is in need of a serious facelift. It has very old equipment, dirty paint and carpets, and his dental chair I sat in felt like a forklift when he moved me up and down. Judging from the Mercedes in the parking lot under his covered parking, I know where his priorities are...not with his office and patients overall experience. Futhermore, when I visited one of the staff members was talking rudely to another person or patient for all I know...very unprofessional to do in front of a patient. I gathered that it was the Dr's wife. That being said Dr. Scott was very nice and gentle, but their office as a whole needs work.

Had not been to Dr. Scott for a couple of years due to health reasons. A left lower bridge had come out and I took it in to be recemented and I had hoped to have a cleaning which I hadn't had for the same length of time.
His assistant took a full set of mouth x-rays. Dr. Scott looked at my teeth and scaled some of them (no cleaning). Recemented the bridge. Told me I had Oral Lichen Planus - that it was incurable and no one knows what to do for it. I was given no literature or advice, nor scheduled for another appointment.. The fee was $300
.
Very clean, nicely-appointed office with topnotch equipment. Dr.Scott and assistants are pleasant and helpful as well. I do think that he should have not just dropped this diagnosis on me without telling me if I should seek help from him again, from a Periodontist, an EENT specialist or ?? . Since my appointment on 9/30/05,I have found out through the Baylor College of Dentistry that this disease can invade all mucosal surfaces. and require very frequent follow up with frequent cleaning, etc. I turned to the Interne Det because I wanted some information. I spent half the night seeking help through BCD. I also joined their support group. This cost me nothing.
