Dr Shipp is a dentist that's a perfect combination of experience, knowledge, and friendliness, and with an awesomely friendly and helpful front desk staff, going to him is almost a treat!
I know that seems a bit much, but I am just astonished at the quality of this dentist office. I've had such bad experiences at doctors' offices, especially with the front desk staff (i hate it when there's a good doctor, but a staff that's so rude I almost want to stop going), that I feel sooo lucky for finding such a great dentist.
He doesn't try to screw you over and make you get unnecessary work done. He has a good bedside manner that makes you instantly comfortable, even if he has a little bit of strange humor. And he knows what he's doing, and will explain everything to you.
His staff is friendly, sympathetic, very helpful, and seem to like their jobs! It is soo refreshing to work with these kinds of people.
About Hygienist: A little rough with your teeth, but leaves them sparkling clean. Will also nag you about brushing and flossing, but that's what I expect from a hygienist, and I know she's right!

I have been going to Dr. Shipp for over 25 years. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and has always done an excellent job for our entire family. We highly recommend Dr. Shipp.
