All I can say is: Wow! Expertise really pays. I had severe tooth pain from cold sensitivity. Dr. Davenport figured out what the issue was and fixed it. My last dentist was going to do a crown! I saved a bundle. Dr. Davenport also has hi-def digital x-ray and the latest proven treatment options. Plus he's a good man of high integrity. You don't run into this good of a dentist but once or twice in a lifetime. Cleaning number (below) is actually the amount of time to remove and replace my filling, including etching and prep.
About Hygienist: Mary--actually the dental assistant: very good at her specialty. I felt she was completely in tune with what was going on and was a great help to the doctor during the procedure.

I have been a patient for 32 years. Over the years Dr. D has replaced all my old fillings with newer material; performed a painless root canal (32 years ago, of which I still have the original porcelain crown, and it is still in good shape). No matter where I have lived over the last 32 years, I have always returned to the Houston office for him to take care of my teeth. No one can replace him. His office staff is very friendly and very accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. D to anyone.

Dr. davenport has been my dentist for several years. the most consciencious dentist ever. fair and honest. worth every penny. great office staff.

I had just moved to Houston & had not established my doctors yet. I broke my tooth on a piece of hard candy at work & had to get it fixed immediately. Someone in the office recommended the dentist they use - so I made an appt with Dr. Davenport that day - they worked me in. I sat in the chair for over 2 hours while he did a crown. He was so gentle and attentive & his staff was extremely nice. My mouth was not sore at all the next day. His staff even called me the next day to make sure I was ok - super super nice people. I've never had such a good dentist & highly recommend him. He may be a little pricier than some other dentists - - but it is well worth the quality of care you receive.

I have been a patient of Dr. Davenport for 30+ years. He is the best I have ever been to and is honest when it comes to diagnosing a dental problem. He is the greatest and I would recommend him to anyone. His hygienist is superb and his front desk person is a jewel.

Dr. Davenport has been extremely professional, knowlegeable, and proficient with every procedure he's ever performed. He's quality oriented, in that he does whatever it takes to get every detail of a procedure right the first time. I've had both fillings and crowns performed by Dr. Davenport, and have never had any problems or reasons to return afterward to modify something that wasn't quite right. As far as anesthetic is concerned, I've never had a single painful incident out of all the procedures I've experienced. In addition, Dr. Davenport has never overbooked his appointments, which means that I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes before being called to the dental chair. His receptionist, Sherry, is one of the nicest and most helpful people you will ever meet, and she handles all the insurance paperwork and submissions for you. In short, I recommend Dr. Davenport VERY highly.

Dr. Davenport is amazing. I have been going to him since I was a teenager and I have not let anyone else touch my teeth since. He is a true artist and professional. He is extremely patient and knowledgeable and has an amazing and friendly staff. If I lived in another country and/or state, I would fly back to Texas for my appointment I like his services that much.
About Hygienist: Jane is wonderful. She is great to talk to and has a great demeanor.

THE CASE OF THE CHIPPED FRONT TOOTH:
It's been 24 hours after my treatment. I must tell you, I have been in many dentists chairs and this was the best anesthesia delivery I have ever had! NO PAIN. His technique was awsome! He tooked the right time to work the problem.
The experience with doctor Davenport was excellent. His a true professional not only with his skills as a dentist but also with the doctor / patience relationship.
I like when a professional explain the process and gives me information step by step. He gain my confidence immediately.
Also the staff from the start make me feel welcome.
I must note also the facilities and equipment were excellent.
I noticed the relaxing music, fish tank and general atmosphere to be conducive to relax or keep nerves at a minimum level.
I recommend Dr. Frank Davenport if you are looking for a serious professional with 2 distinguish talents:
1: Experienced and professional DDS with latest techniques.
2: The ability to make you comfortable and confident during the dental process.
The results of this 2 talents were beyond my expectations.
Thank you Sherry and Dr. Davenport for saving my tooth!
