I would definitely recommend Dr Farkas. He has been my dentist for 10 years. He takes care of the whole family including my. 90 year old mother. We have all had services from cleaning to crowns to root canals to bridges- all services were handled with concern and expertise. The staff is friendly and just as service oriented as Dr. Farkas.

Recently had to have a root canal redone by a specialist because when Dr. Farkas did it 10 years ago, he didn't clean out one of the canals and the dead root caused bacteria to build up. I had to pay $658 out-of-pocket because it wasn't done correctly the first time.
My husband had a similar experience, only this time Dr. Farkas broke off a piece of a dental instrument while doing his root canal. My husband had to go to a specialist because he was having severe pain, long after having the procedure done.
Sloppy work that shows up years later.

The worst experience and pain of my life caused was caused by this dentist. Went in for a simple dental procedure (first one ever) and ended up with an injury and severe infection. Zero quality of life and in constant pain for three months. I got zero help, understanding or compassion from this office. I had to use up my dental insurance coverage for the year as well as go in debt for services (expenses I would have never incurred otherwise) elsewhere to try to save my tooth. Three bottles of antibiotics and pain medication did not help. This was all preventable. My pain was the the point where I literally could not function or work. I was living on mashed potatoes. It felt like the side of my face had been blown off...Without exaggeration. My infection became so severe that I was running fever and vomiting. Numerous phone calls and visits to this office went nowhere. There is no excuse in this level of incompetence. He refused to acknowledge the infection in my tooth (that he caused) when two other dental professionals that I saw (on an emergency basis) confirmed that an infection was present. Until this year, I have never even used my dental insurance except for cleanings and x-rays. There are no words to explain how devastating this has been both personally and financially. I feel I was at least owed an apology. As my family has gone to this dentist for a long time. I had to undergo almost 5 hours of surgery because of him. The recovery from that was also very painful. I want to add that his own office staff told me that I should go elsewhere because he messed up two of their teeth and that he is not a good dentist to go to for something like this. For something like what?! Statements like my boss doesn t have a lot of compassion are very telling. Going to this office or trusting this dentist with my dental care was probably the biggest mistake (medically) that I have ever made. Lastly, if someone cannot stand by their own employer and doesn t believe in their work (where they are secretly warning patients to go elsewhere) perhaps they should not work there. Unacceptable and unforgiveable. I am not one to post online reviews. I am doing so in this instance because I would not want anyone else to experience what I did. I would urge anyone reading this to go elsewhere. I wish I had.

I highly recommend Dr. Farkas for your dental needs. He is a very nice person as well as an excellent dentist. I understand that, in the near future, he will have a new "State of the Art" dental office.
