The overall experience was great. I appreciated the honesty and loved the friendly staff. I wouldn't trade this dentist for another. Dr. Phan was completely honest and saved me thousand of dollars

The doctor is great. Very gentle and so honest. The staff is great !
I had gone to a previous dentist and that dentist said i needed a root canal and crown. After seeing dr. Phan all i needed was a simple filling. I was happy for the honesty.

On my first visit Dr. Phan (for a checkup and basic cleaning), she measured my gum depth and told me that, based upon the readings, I should have a deep cleaning/descaling procedure done. This would be covered by insurance but still would cost me several hundred dollars out of pocket.
I was suspicious so I visited another dentist, who did the same measurements and said that Dr. Phan was very incorrect in the readings and disingenuous in telling me I needed the procedure. The new dentist told me that my teeth and gums were in great shape and that I in no way needed the procedure Dr. Phan recommended.
Not too long later a friend of mine coincidentally went to her for a cleaning and she told this person the exact same thing.
All of this tells met that while Dr. Phan may be extremely qualified and skilled and friendly, she seems more concerned about my money than giving me the proper procedures.

I finally found a dentist with a light touch, who doesn't leave me sore or swollen! Dr. Phan has an efficient staff and runs an on-time schedule. I've not had a bad experience. Fees are on the high side but I believe her experience and techniques are worth the extra money. It took me a long time to find a dentist that my daughter and I are comfortable with and have a high degree of confidence in. We'll keep coming back!

I went to Dr. Phan from another web site's recommendation. Her office is in the Med Center, but it is not as conveniently located as others. You'll have to trek all the way down Fanin and pay for parking. I'm still having pain in the tooth she worked on, and I expect that I'll have to pay more money to another dentist to have it fixed. The procedure was more expensive, more painful, and more time-consuming than any other time else I've had it--I had to return three additional visits to have it adjusted and fixed. Her office was not as hygenic as other dentists where I've been. She tended to her baby in between patients, and procedures were delayed when staff could not locate the necessary tools. I will not go back.
