If I could give 0, I would rate 0 for her. She is not certified to practice some of the procedures, including implant. Yet, she told me that she could do the implant and called me several times to come to her office. Then, charged me for the office visit which she did nothing, excepting telling me that she couldn't do the implant. She argued that I need to come to the office before she knows that she couldn't do the implant. Already complained to BBB and dental board. Liar, Wait for my attorney.
About Front Desk: she is the front desk herself. Very bad. If I could rate 0, I would put 0. Be careful, She is not certified to do lots procedures. Yet, she likes to cheat you to her office and charge you for office visit fee.

bad service, insist on paying first before any treatment. No assistant available on the sight. charge 5 dollars extra for payment using the credit card.
Did not clean my teeth properly, still sees visible stain on the surface. However the dentist insisted that it is clean already and recommend me to go home and brush my teeth.
When she asked me when i cleaned my teeth last time, i
say either Nov or December. When she is away, i saw the record. She had wrote down Sep as the date that i cleaned my teeth.

First of all, Dr. Tu is no longer located at her Anita address. When I arrived at that closed down shopping strip, that should have been my first clue. Her office on S. Gessner is dirty. I don't think any tools have been replaced in the past 20 years because they are rusty and she has to constantly oil her drill. She doesn't speak English well enough to answer my questions. She doesn't have an actual hygenist, just two different receptionists who wear scrubs and all they know how to do is hold the vacuum sucker in your mouth. She is very sloppy shooting the anesthesia, she missed and boy it tasted terrible! I got a crown, something I've heard can be done in about 2 visits. She extended this to 6 visits. It was a very frustrating experience. I don't trust her. I'm looking for an honest dentist, to tell me if the crown looks good. I think she might have drilled a hole through it. Her "billing" is very sloppy. She doesn't have a computer so her billing method is writing down in chicken scratch. She tried to charge me $300 extra because she forgot to write it down one time when I paid. I'm so glad I will never go back to Dr. Tu.
