A great dentist - efficient, affable, and pleasant to visit. I have had general dentistry, crowns, and some restoration work, all done with a high degree of excellence. both Nic and Phil have excellent technique and are very concerned about patient comfort.
Office staff is a bit quirky, but can be effective. I highly recommend Phil and Nic to anyone seeking a dentist.
About Hygienist: A bit rough, but I have a lot of work that needs deep cleaning. Very effective, though, and that is what a cleaning should be.

Dr Mooberry was very considerate, easy going and could make you feel comfortable in the chair; however, I can not say that for his office staff; very rude. They did not process our medical insurance correctly and notified us more then a year later that we did not pay our bill. Since my insurance doesnt make payments after a year, we are stuck with the bill.

Dr. Mooberry is generally a wonderful dentist. However, since his wonderful receptionist Margo retired, his front desk staff has been poor at best. One woman in particular was very rude to me about losing my appointment ("the computer system's fault" and "the woman responsible no longer works here") and grudgingly rescheduled me a week later. When she realized I was very upset, she said, "Oh, we'll make it up to you." I decided not to walk out and never come back--I gave them one more chance. Well, today was my re-schedule, and Dr. Mooberrry "had family in town" and was running late (it was one hour after the office opened), and "probably thought his son Nick (a dentist) was coming in for him." I am now looking for a new dentist. I believe Dr. Mooberry is now thinking about retirement and customer care at his office is showing it. I used to be willing to put up with expensive dental cleanings because Margo and his hygienists are wonderful, but that is no longer the case.
About Hygienist: Dr. Mooberry's hygienists are wonderful. I hope they do not suffer because their dentist may lose clients due to poor front desk staffing.

As I remember, Dr. Mooberry is careful, thoughtful, through, enjoyable, and competent.
Dr. Mooberry did extensive work on me when he was a Senior at the University of the Pacific, School of Denistry way back in 1987.
Of all the work I've had over several decades of chair-time, Philip's work has been exceptionally durable, not showing any signs of weakness. I'm considering traveling to AZ from Northern CA to have him put a bridge in next to a tooth he rebuilt 19 years ago! If he's as good and meticulous now, as he was then, I'll be set for many more years to come. I imagine that this posting will be a surprise to him, since I just "Googled" his name now. I'll call his office after I send this post. Berk Snow, Northern California, January 26, 2006
