This doctor placed a front tooth implant that does not conform to the gum. It looks poor and I had to switch dentists because he will not redo it. Each dentist mentions to me it is clearly incorrect. He does care and now I am going to have to pay for another crown at my expense. Do not go. He does not care. Just look at the reviews, most quality companies receive the occassional poor review and you see an immediate posting from the business that they will make it right. Not this doctor, he thinks complaints by the customer are annoying and disregards you as a person.

I would warn against this dentist. He placed a wrong sized crown on my front teeth and will not replace it. It is visible and other dentists are shocked when they see his work. He lacks the ethics that a customer deserves. Everyone makes mistakes, he will not fix his and leaves his clients with potential health issues.

Dr. Baker has done extensive work on my teeth and I have been completely satisfied with every procedure. About 6 crowns, 3 or 4 root canals plus the normal cleanings. He is very kind and understanding of my need for nitrous oxide. He is gentle when doing the work. I have complete confidence in him and his decisions in my oral treatments. His staff is equally friendly and nice. They're thoughtful and helpful. I don't like going to a dentist - but Dr. Baker alleviates the anxiety I feel. He asks about my family, tells me about his. I am pleased to recommend him to anyone at all. The office is modern, clean and has a restroom inside equipped with usable toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash, so there's no going down the hall. In the waiting area there are current magazines and a very nice place for children to play. I never have to wait for a long time before being taken to my treatment room. I have absolutely no negative things to say about Dr. David A. Baker of Plano, Texas!

I had several crowns done by Dr Baker that I'm now having to have redone because they are infected and poorly done. He should have performed a root canal on one that is now infected. I've had pain ever since he put them on. He was rude and told inappropriate jokes during my procedure. His prices are not discussed prior to the treatment and high for the quality of work. I left with my mouth full of material and my crowns have hurt since putting them on.

I went to Dr Baker to have my teeth cleaned and then ended up with several crowns. 2 of which are causing me pain and I paid quite a bit out of pocket over my insurance. He had to pull one crow off to redo it. They dont fit together at all. I will not go back to this person and will not recommend.

The front desk person is very rude.
I did not feel dr baker or staff cared about follow up after my crowns were placed. Since iI had already paid. My gums were suspose to be checked. They cancelled my appointment and didnt feel very concerned to get me back in there.

I have had all my dental work done by Dr. Baker and his staff from regular cleans to crowns. I just set up three of my grandchildren to go to him on a regular basis and they all loved him and came away with no anxiety about future trips. His staff is excellent. I would recommend Dr. Baker to everyone.

This doctor did for me a filing, crown and a front teeth bonding.
I must say that I will not visit him again and will not recommend him to anyone I know. Although he's educated dentist, he does not come across as a sincere person. He is talking fast without paying attention to patient needs. He tried to sell me a thousands of dollars "needed" treatments and he eventually succeeded to sucker me into doing a crown.
He has no pride in his work and has no aesthetic sense. He does a very sloppy and ugly work, not noticing the imperfections that make the difference in person's teeth.
Overall - it is like going to a redneck doctor to fix a horse mouth. Disappointing.

I went to Dr. Baker for a checkup and cleaning, after an xray he told me I would need two teeth filled, so then it turned into a filling and a root canal, since I didn't have insurance I only did one. During the operation he cracked my tooth and glued it back together with a matrix (I still wonder what a matrix is) now we're being treated for a broken tooth. Then, 2 years later, I lost the majority of the tooth to the root while eating a steak. The other tooth he said I needed to drill is still just fine 10 years later but I have a gaping hole on the other side and will require surgery to remove the remainder of the root. I'm still scared of dentist to this day and will wait as long as I can because I don't want to see a dentist unless I absolutely have to.

Dr. Baker retreated my failing root canal and made my beautiful porcelain crown all in one appointment. His office is very technologically advanced and I had no discomfort. Other dentists I went to wanted to just pull the tooth, do a bone graft and then place an implant, have me wait 4 months, and then put a crown on it. I am glad I went to see Dr. Baker
About Hygienist: Very thorough, my teeth were definitely clean after I saw her. Nice lady.
