I had 8 overall surgeries between Dr. Fanous and another surgeon. i got osteomylitis and now have lost all my teeth. he thought i wanted pills and all i asked for was 2 wisdom teeth removed. not all his fault but i paid for all those services and now have to pay someone 15k to get new teeth.

This was my first introduction to an Oral Surgeon. I was referred to him by my Dentist, who was puzzled and concerned about some unsightly growths that had appeared in my mouth.
I do not have dental insurance and had carefully saved my $$ in order to consult with this specialist. I was worried and had unrelenting fears that could not be answered with internet research. Needless to say, I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of this appointment!
Dr Fanous assessment was cold, sparse and to the point : "I'm not sure what these are, but I can cut them out. My Nurse will talk to you about the price." Any carefully thought out question I had chosen to ask him was met with a boring stare and the briefest of generic replies.
I left with a costly estimate, deeply ashamed of whatever had happened to the inside of my mouth that could not be discussed openly and with a pleasant demeanor, and the prospect of painful surgery.
I thought carefully about my options and chose not to place my trust in this professional.
Fortunately, after reading reviews of other Dentists and Oral Surgeons, I found an exceptionally kind, jovial, honest, and dedicated professional who explained in detail what happened inside of my mouth and what I could do to prevent further occurrences!
I must mention that the office staff of Dr Fanous gave me a warm gretting and were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

My wife underwent an implant surgery a couple of years ago and Dr. Fanous has made a terrible job. All cosmetic dentists that tried to fixed what has been done by him in the early 2007, are horrified.

Dr Fanous and his staff are incredible. I had a tooth removed and a bone graft placed and they made me feel at ease throughout the process. If you fear dental procedures, trust me , they go to great lengths to ensure you comfort.

I was so nervous to have my wisdom teeth out since they were impacted and lying on a nerve. Dr. Fanous made the procedure painless and worry-free! I have never been so satisfied with a health professional. Dr. Famous gets my whole hearted recommendation!

great oral surgeon. very nice guy. would recommend. went in for wisdom teeth removal and he was very knowledable and did a great job.
