Dr Allen is different than the average dentist. He is relaxed and funny. The entire staff at Gentle Dental has great respect for him and he treats them very well. My 4 kids have always loved going to see him - even when it was for fillings or orthodontics. We've never had a bad experience. We've never had a problem. He has never pushed us to have a procedure done that wasn't necessary. He's always very honest about what needs to be done and what doesn't. His brutal honesty and genuine care about my family is refreshing. We love Dr Allen at Gentle Dental, Rockwall!

About Front Desk: The front desk staff is efficient and kind. Barb is very clear about what is owed and when I should just wait and see what insurance pays. Presley is a sweet heart and does a great job with appointment reminders.

About Hygienist: As we are always scheduled at the same time (all 5 of us), we use a variety of hygienists. All of them are sweet, gentle, and thorough. We've never had a complaint or problem.

I've been in the dental field for over 30 years so I'm very particular of who I choose do my dental treatment. I've actually had 2 pervious dentists completely ruin my entire mouth. Dr Allen took time to listen, talk to me about my needs and treated me with utmost respect. I'm a huge chicken and my fears are always relieved from his patience with me to the staff and how they sympathize with my fears. Highly recommend this office to anyoneneeding simple cleanings to braces and cosmetic needs

About Front Desk: I've never had a problem scheduling a time to fit my schedule, my insurance is always filed correctly and they're always smiling !

I have gone to this office for many years and have always been pleased with my treatments. The staff is very caring and professional and make you feel at ease. I never even feel the shot, and that's important to me! I highly recommend this dentist and his staff!

Office is clean, organized, well run, and comfortable. Staff is courteous and fun. Dr Allen is easy going, funny, and friendly. He knows his business and won't do unnecessary procedures. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr Allen has done our preventative care for 7 yrs. He has filled cavities, repaired damage from accidents, and helped our TMJ symptoms. He is also our orthodontist. His school allows us to have great ortho care at a discounted price. We highly recommend him!

About Hygienist: All of the hygienists we've worked with have been efficient and very friendly. Dr Allen is very particular about whom he hires.

Dr. Allen and staff are very friendly and makes you very comfortable. They make a point to remember your name when you return for dental work or just for hygiene.

About Hygienist: I used several hygienist at Dr. Allen's dental office. All are friendly , courteous and treat you with professional respect.

Office atmosphere very uncomfortable. The level of professionalism was poor and the interactions between Dr. and staff were disrespectful and rude. Cost was fine, front desk staff is well suited for their job and handled the patients with care.
