He is very conservative when it comes to treatment options as well as resourceful. He doesn't make recommendations based on increasing his income...ever! He won't sell you the "mercury (amalgam) filling is lethal, nor will he start putting crowns on all your teeth because there a (normal) fracture lines which we all have eventually. As per the review about Dr. Kirsch "talking politics", put on your big boy pants and SAY SOMETHING. I have been a patient of Dr. Kirsch most of my life and drive from Austin, Tx to see him; if anyone said they'd prefer not talking he would happily accommodate them. Actually, he will accommodate just about any reasonable request and you will still receive the best care ever as a bonus!!!
About Front Desk: Alva is a treasure, as has been the case for all of his receptionists. I think there have been 3 in the forty years I've been going to this office and each one has left for retirement and for no other reason.

Very nice and gentle. My family and I relied on him for cleanings and he was very thourough. One drawback is that he talks about politics and is too opinionated and asks for your opinion on controversial issues.

Dr. Kirsch has been my family doctor for decades. His work is great quality, and he's thorough. He's a great dentist for people anxious about having their teeth worked on especially, and is consistently in touch with the latest medical research and information about dentistry. I recommend him wholeheartedly. His hygienests are always very professional. Visits to Dr. Kirsch take a little longer than the 'factory line' type walk-in places, but you'll leave feeling confident he's done his job.
