Don't waste your time with this dentist! He is a money monger! Rude to me and my husband. He tried to charge my husband to cap a tooth when he had already had a root canal. My husband said he was rude when he went to him 8 months ago. He wants money for work that is not needed! Worst dentist we have ever had!!!! My husband got a second opinion and was told the cap was not necessary. So Dr. Pisciotta lied to a customer just to get money and we have 2 excellent insurances. So no surprise. So we fired him!

About Front Desk: Terrible. The front desk crew are too busy eating cookies while waiting on customers. They don't have a clue and they could do without the cookies! Eating while on the job is so unprofessional!!!

About Hygienist: J.M. was fine. Sorry she has to work for a dentist like this. She deserves so much better! Be better. The cleaning was shorter than usual and the dentist never came in and checked my teeth after the cleaning. Just as well because he is such a panty waisted sissy. He spared me! HA.

Between 2004 and 2007, I spent almost $4000 on crowns, root canal, fillings, etc. Shortly after leaving the area, I had to have more work done on the root canal as it failed to solve the problem. Yesterday, I had to have BOTH crowns replaced. One was less than 6 yrs old and the other was less than 8yrs old. They should last a least 10yrs and should last much, much longer. My new (and excellent) dentist tried to avoid saying the old ones weren't done well but that is what she meant. Sure enough, once they were off, both teeth revealed decay. The decay was most likely caused by poor fit. I feel ripped off.

About Hygienist: While I loved the hygenists at this practice, I've told all my friends to go elsewhere for significant/expensive procedures.

Unfortunately, a $75 late charge is what you can expect if you miss an appointment. And bad desk staff that wont work with you.

Dr. Pisciotta is a GREAT dentist. You couldn't find a better dentist in all of VA.

I really like him a lot. He has nice facilities, a calm demeanor, uses digital imaging and cares.

Dr. Pisciotta is the BEST dentist in Virginia. His work is great and he makes you feel really relaxed when he's working on you. The only thing he should change is his front office staff. The girls could be a little more pleasant.

Dr. Pisciotta has been my dentist for years. He's a great dentist and really makes feel relax when he's working on you. I used to be scared to go to the dentist (like most people) but, Dr. Pisciotta makes me want to go back. You couldn't find a nicer Dr in all of VA than Dr. Pisciotta

Dr. Pisciotta has been my dentist for over 15 years - - he's a very skilled and caring person. I'd have a hard time believing there's a better dentist in the area! Now that his practice has moved to a brand new building, everything about the experience there is first-rate.
