The most important thing to know about Dr. Belt is that he is honest. He doesn't search for "microcavities" or try to sell you on a bunch of expensive options. He fills cavities well, and provides advice that isn't influenced by the amount of money he will make from the procedure. His staff makes sure you aren't overbilled, and if an error occurs, they fix it without you having to having to prompt them.

Would not recommend for any work more involved than cleaning or perhaps a small filling. I've had to have a crown redone that Dr. Belt had initally done (very poorly).

I have been going to Dr. Belt for over 20 years. His office staff is very courteous and professional. The doctor is very friendly and kind. I have had crowns made and fillings and general checkups. The office facility is small and not very attractive (in the lower level of a building) but he is very nice and I continue to go there. He has some evening hours which are very convenient for working people. I don't think the crowns were so attractively made but he does fine with fillings and general checkups. The technicians are very good and friendly to patients and pleasant. He seems to honor most insurance plans. I believe his costs are considerably less than most area dentists. I would recommend this dentist.

Facilities were very dirty and the doctor is very cheap and rather compromise the cleanliness of the area by using SARAN WRAP to cover the instruments. Seriously? Can you not afford necessary replaceable instrument covers? How sterile are the instruments anyway? They all seem to be very old as well. In addition to the facilities, the office itself is in a very bad side of the neighborhood. The office itself is very cramped and old fashioned. The instruments do not see to be updated. Dr. Belt himself is a very old man and does not seem up to date with current findings in dentistry or does he try to upgrade his instruments. I had to refill a filling and about another 2 weeks, it fell out again. He did not do a good job at all regarding my treatment nor did he try to be friendly at all. The customer service sucks as well. One of the receptionist is friendly. The other was just completely unfriendly and rude. I will never go back to this place EVER again.

Dr. Belt is a very kind, friendly, and competent dentist. I've been going to him for around 15 years and he is always very pleasant, appts are easy to make, never have to wait, and they have taken very good care of me.
About Hygienist: Unfortunately I do not remember the name of my hygienist, but I do go to the same one each time and I think that's standard there - kind of nice since you spend more time w/ her than the dr - so you see the same person. She is extremely gentle, caring, and very friendly. She always takes time to explain any time I have a question and I never feel rushed.

Doctor Belt has been my regular dentist for a number of years. He's always been responsive, attentive and given excellent service. His hygenist is excellent and he does accept my insurance MD*IPA. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a general dentist.

Very professional doctor and staff. They are very accomodating to patients, and the front office staff has always been helpful and go out of their for their patients.

Dr Belt is a wonderful dentist that is very caring. I have been his patient for many years. I have tried other dentists due to insurance issues but have always returned to Dr Belt. He gives me all my treatment options with prices so I can make an informed decision. The staff is very gentle and caring also.

Dr Belt is very professional and friendly. The hygenists working in his office are extremelely friendly, and really take the time to carefully and throughouly clean your teeth. I've had 2 cavities filled by Dr. Belt and never experienced and pain. I've never encoutered any Insurance issues with his office. His front desk staff are professional, but not always the most friendly. I've had problems getting appointments for some last minute examinations.
