I have young children and they had previously had a horrific experience with a dentist in Fredericksburg VA where we used to live. Dr Fidel is not only a wonderful dentist but the entire staff is amazing. kind. gentle. understanding just wonderful!
I would recommend Dr Fidel (and have recommended her) to anyone seeking a child friendly skilled dentist. She is wonderful and her office is wonderful! I could not have asked for a better experience or better dentist - and this is after multiple visits with my different children - different ages and different dental problems Dr Fidel and her staff are amazing!!

She has a great receptionist (Julianna - ?). She explains every dollar. They charge exactly what they promised to charge. They do not cheat patients, they have complete transparency. They show the fees of the insurance companies and help a lot. They do not do extractions. They do not do root canals. For cleanings, deep cleanings, fillings they are for sure so great. I mean her office in Friendship Heights.

Dr. Fidel is amazing with young children. My 2,5 year old daughter loved her, and was not afraid at all. My aughter stopped thumb sucking after Dr. Fidel talked to her, and I think this is just amazing! We are still patients in her office and I highly recommend her for anyone who has young children.

Dr. Fidel is incredibly patient and gentle. As someone who has a fear of dentists she put me at ease. I would highly recommend her. The folks as the front desk have been pleasant and helpful when I have dealt with them and have returned calls promptly.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I brought my daughter for her very first dentist visit, and she did not get anxious at all. They had a small play area in the waiting room for children, but overall, the office was not very well appointed, and in an odd location. All seemed to go well for my daughter's visit - she had a cleaning, X-Rays and flouride treatment - until we got home. When I checked her teeth with my finger nail, I found that I could scrape off "gunk"! She still had dirty teeth! When I called the office back, the doctor told me "Well, I thought I did a good job... go ahead and bring her back in, and I'll take another look." The receptionist then got back on the phone to make a second appointment, but when I asked for an assurance that there would not be a charge, I got the run around. Basically, I was out $200, my daughter's teeth were still dirty, and they had no intention of making it right. I did not bring my daughter back, and will not return to this dentist. Poor service and care overall.
