Read Reviews for Dr. Louis La Vecchia
BEWARE! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I went to Dr. Greg La Vecchia (the younger, not Louis). When I went in, I had never had a cavity and had never had tooth pain. Dr. La Vecchia said there were 7 cavities he needed to fill - I stopped him at 5. 7 cavities!! After never having a cavity before!? Sounds fishy. I'll even give him the benefit of the doubt that there were cavities there - what happened next was really terrible. A month after the fillings, I went back because I was continuing to have major pressure sensitivity - I couldn't chew anything (even potato chips were too hard) on the right side of my mouth because I had a very sharp pain and I felt like one of my teeth would break if I used it. Hot/cold sensitivity, as well. He spent less than 5 minutes with me, said that it was normal to have pain for the first 3 months and said offhandedly "some people always have some pain." WHAT?! I have lived with a terrible amount of pain for the past year, only to find out from my new dentist that I have a cracked tooth and will require a crown. Dr. La Vecchia dismissed my pain and was unwilling to fix a problem that he very likely caused. I am immensely disappointed in my experience - beware!!
About Hygienist: She was fine - I don't remember which one i had but she wasn't very gentle. The gals at the front desk were very nice.

Services are satisfactory, but the cost is relatively high, and optional (cosmetic) services are heavily marketed by the dentist and staff.
