Read Reviews for Dr. Jeremiah Partrick
When I first moved to DC I had about 7 cavities and zero dollars, and the first dentist I saw was recommending veneers. Dr. Patrick not only took my insurance, but he continuously found ways to save even more money and keep my teeth happy. He even found a way to avoid having to give me a root canal. He's an odd guy who sings while he works. Also it's surprisingly easy to get an appointment and convenient to the VA Square metro.
About Hygienist: Helen is a wonderful hygienist and her and Dr. Patrick work well as a team.

I really like Dr. Partrick. Aside from doing a good job on my teeth and teaching he is quite funny. I like his natural way of being comfortable enough to sing along with the piped in music. I've never had a problem with his work at all. The office staff is friendly also.

His thoroughness and attentiveness to overall oral health is reassuring. He takes the care to do the right thing the right way. I have not trusted anyone else to do work on my teeth since I first became a patient of Dr. Partrick's.

NOT RECOMMEDED! I went in 2006 for a check up which turned into a root canal/crown, and this took about 10 visits, each of which was terrible! It was not an out of the ordinary procedure, but maybe I should have been referrred to an oral surgeon - the option was not even mentioned. The assistants/hygienists were not comforting or particularly well skilled. I was asked to sign a waiver while on my back and with various medical instruments in my mouth so I couldn't talk... the dentist and his help clanged instruments against my teeth - on a few occasions, I almost swallowed the crown when they carelessly wedged it out . The final crown itself was incorrectly molded and it took weeks to remold, reorder and reinstall - in modern faciities, all of these things can be done in a day or less. The facilities are old and stale, and they do not have the latest and greatest equipment. They don't even have a spittoon or offer any water/rinse. That wouldn't be so bad but the suction applied to remove liquids was infrequent and incompetently carried out. I also received numerous bills for different aspects of the same procedure, some of which were sent months after the first one was sent - BEWARE!

I've been going to Dr. Partrick for about a year and I think he's great! He never makes you feel rushed through, always asks whether you have any questions and, if you do, takes as much time as you need to explain things. I went to him on a friend's very high recommendation and wasn't disappointed.

Pleasant environment and staff. During routine 6-month cleanings, Dr. Partrick does a procedure which checks the health of your gums. Not the most comfortable thing (the instrument pokes at your gums) but really important.

If you're looking for a general dentist and you're not in a hurry, Dr. Partrick and staff can take care of you. Good stories and good tunes while you're in the chair. On my first appt I was told I would need a crown and that was confirmed by another dentist (never hurts to have a second opinion). This was after I waited for at least 30 minutes after my appt time. The next appt was making the impression and that went pretty well. Aside from the temp crown falling off and eventually disappearing, that wasn't bad.
When the permanent crown was ready to be put in place, it didn't fit and after about 15-20 min of attempting to modify it, I was told I could get a refund and find another dentist or start the process over. Dr Partrick's generally good nature turned to what I felt was a fairly unprofessional one, in the way that I was left in the chair, free to go when I was ready (think he had another patient and was busy). I can understand being irritated/displeased (I'm the one that will need to take more time from work to go have this done). I can understand having a bad day. But I felt that the situation could have been handled better.
I'm looking for a new dentist to finish my crown.

If you can handle an over-the-top southerner then Dr. Partrick is your guy. He's entertaining to say the least. Personality aside, he is extremely thorough and has an excellent bedside manner.

I can't believe that Dr. Partrick has only one review on this site. He is the bomb!!! His local anesthesia technique is the best on the planet and I'm not a fan of needles. And best of all, his patience with troublesome patients like me is beyond description. He should have no problem identifying this review as I am his most satisfied patient.

Dr. Partrick takes a lot of time to educate his patients and help them take better care of their teeth through improved brushing, flossing, etc. He is very polite, patient, and friendly.
