Read Reviews for Dr. Gene Woo
I was referred to Dr Gene Woo's office by a friend of mine. After a quick Google search and reading positive reviews I set up an appointment to have a molar, that has been bothering me for a while, looked at.
I have to say that upon entering Dr Woo's office and meeting his very professional and friendly assistant, I felt at ease and not in the least nervous. I have always been afraid of dentists and I blame that on really awful past experiences. Well, Dr Woo has changed all that. He put me at ease, giving me relaxation techniques, and speaking to me about my options on what to do with my bothersome tooth. Not at all pushy. He was very professional, thorough, friendly and caring, making sure I understood every option available to me. When I opted to have the tooth taken out, I have to state this clearly, I felt NO pain whatsoever throughout the extraction. I was amazed. Before I knew it, the procedure was over and I felt so much more relief afterwards.
I recommend Dr Woo tremendously. He is a true asset to the Falls Church area and I intend on coming back so I could have an even better smile for many many years ahead.

Dr. Woo was very professional and very good at his job. He helped me when I was in extreme pain and did it fast. I went in with a bad painful tooth..he understood when I told him I cannot afford a root canal and told him I just wanted it pulled. In all of ten minutes later he was finished, and I was on my way. I would definitely recommend anyone go see him for your dental needs.

Some bad experiences in the distant past left me resistant to visiting dentists into my 40's, when I suddenly (over a couple months) broke two molars and lost a large molar filling. None were painful, but they all needed obvious attention which I was finally forced to obtain because of a pending foreign job assignment. After calling around I was referred to Dr. Woo, by another local dentist who was overbooked.
Dr. Woo runs a small practice but his treatment and manners are the best I have ever had in my 50 years. For the first time in my life I went through the examination, prep, drilling, and filling procedures with no pain whatsoever, and more importantly with no fear. Dr. Woo has an approach that is so soothing I nearly fell asleep in the chair **while he was drilling and adding fillings**. For someone like me this was really an amazing experience.
I had no insurance at the time so paid cash, and the prices seemed reasonable to me (about $1,500.00 total). I have remaining work to do, mostly caps on those broken molars, and Dr. Woo devised a plan and gave me a range of costs for various materials. I will definitely be seeing him again when the time arrives, and recommend him to anyone who's had a similar dentist-phobia.

Dr. Woo has a small dentist practice, but it's really neat and professional. I've had him for several years. He takes x-rays of your teeth and shows it to you and tells you of any possible problems. He explains what he's doing and even has pictures on the ceiling so you can look at it while he's cleaning your teeth. He took my wisdom teeth out in less than 10 minutes (i was lucky not to have it fully grown) Pain was really minimal and I was able to eat the next day.

One of the best dentists I've been to. He cleans very thoroughly and tells you exactly whats going on with your teeth. He shows you the x-rays of your teeth and describes exactly whats going on. He even has pictures on the ceiling so when you're laying on the chair you have something to look at.
I've been to 2 other dentists and they weren't as good as him. They never told me what they were doing or what was going on. Last dentist did a 2-minute poor cleaning job and the dentist before pulled my tooth out before the anesthesia set in. Let's just say that it caused a lot of pain and yelling.
