Nice office and staff, but as time has progressed, it seems we see less of Dr. DeWitt and more of his staff during each successive visit. During a recent visit, I was almost dismissed without having seen him at all. The bill had a significant expense stating that he had seen me, and when the receptionist learned that I had not, they ushered me back into the back room again. Dr. DeWitt looked at my teeth while I stood in the hallway, he decided everything looked okay, and I was back at the receptionist's desk in 1 or 2 minutes. This was a most unsatisfactory experience.
About Hygienist: Nice. Sure would be nice to have a screen on the ceiling with a scroll of a cable news program while keeping the TV on mute. The same picture on the ceiling has been there for years.

Dr. DeWitt is a highly skilled perfectionist, and.consumate professional who is worth every penny he charges. Unquestionably the finest dentist I have ever known and I'm 57. Unlike some, he refers things like implants and root canals to specialists rather than do a less-than-extraordinary job. His crown work is the envy of many dentists, and it is not uncommon for another dentist (my endodontist, for example) to bring the staff into the room for a peek in my mouth to see the quality of his work. I have been his patient for over 20 years and he just gets better and better with time.

The doctor is very thorough and patient in explaining how he finds about your teeth and what are the necessary procedures to keep them in good health. I was also treated by two of the hygienists who educated me a lot on dental health during the procedures. The staff are nice and effective in dealing with paper work. They don't accept my insurance so they would prepare the claim form and fee estimate for future treatments, which helps determine the final costs with the insurance company. A little concern on the costs. Maybe my plan is not a super good one, but some basic service procedures are 20%-30% over the reasonable charges (RC) my plan allows for an out-of-network dentist in his area (Vienna, VA 22182). Prepare to pay extra bucks if you don't have a good plan!

Very easy going and comfortable atmosphere. Excellent craftsmanship Dr. Dewitt is an artist!!

Great dentist. A little expensive but a smile worth showing off - he puts a lot of work and care into his patients. His treatment covers all aspects of dentistry - would recommend to anyone A++
