He asked to do two inalys, and I kept having pain after the surgery. I revisit the office ans he put me in antibiotics for two weeks. After that I still have pain and can;t bite on solid food. I came back and was told I need to visit specilait to do a root canal. The final resutls were: the two teeth he put inlays on, were cracked nad have to be removed.

Dr. Ruzzo's facilities are spectacular although he is very expensive. For the most part I have had a good experience here, although in a couple cases he drilled my teeth without anesthesia when I thought he should have used some. I've also had some trouble with the promptness of their office or mix-ups regarding cancellations.

I visited him for regular cleaning every 6 months. It was good and the staff was responsive. However had issues with services charged which were not informed upfront. I was finally made to pay them even though I didn't ask for it.

When comparing notes with another patient, we both had bad experiences following treatment, pain, and subsequent follow up at another dentist. Charged for services my insurance deemed unnecessary. I've had a lot of dentists, I felt more like a number here than a patient. Try someone else.

Dr. Ruzzo himself is very nice and so are his hygenists. The office itself is new and very clean.
His office staff HORRIFIC! It took me 9 months to settle billing errors! (Only for a cavity and a cleaning) They front desk staff yelled at me and Aetna insurance. A formal complaint was filed through Aetna.
After they finally processed my insurance. The worst was they charged me for oral hygene instruction! $40! I have only had one cavity in my life! Also, they charge me another $30 for them to create my files.
My roommate had the same experience. Neither of us would ever return to this Dental Group

Pretty bad experience with Dr Russo. Added too much anesthesic and always tries to charge me more for everything.

Dr. Ruzzo and his staff provided me with extraordinary care. I never wait - even though the office and reception area (complete with a large plasma screen) are beautiful and relaxing. Dr. Ruzzo has an extraordinary chairside manner, and he uses only the very latest technology. I generally listen to a favorite CD or watch a DVD on the personal entertainment systems during my visits which makes me actually enjoy the appointments. His office is in Tysons with plenty of parking always available right next to the building. I would (and have) recommended Dr. Ruzzo and the Dental Group of Tysons to everyone!
