Just recently I began my search for much needed work as I had 2 broken teeth and started looking around for a cosmetic dentist and I thoroughly researched many. His work is impeccable from what I saw.
I scheduled an appointment.
A beautiful office he has and upon 10 minutes into the discussion; I could tell that he is an outstanding person who has a niche for perfection as shown in his photos.
He did many X-rays, did a thorough consultation and I was impressed with all that was accomplished and look forward to my final results.
It seems after formally meeting Dr. Makarita that bad things can happen to good people due to former employees. I am just grateful I have stumbled upon him.

My wife had to have 4 root canals done, which Dr. Makarita did himself (no referral). 3 of 4 had to be redone by an endodontist as Dr. Makarita’s treatments were either incomplete or he missed the palatal canal. In one of them a broken instrument was found. We lost confidence in his ability to treat my wife when the pain didn't go away. After they were re-treated by the endodontist, the pain went away. Dr. Makarita seemed more interested in her cosmetically than in being able to solve her teeth pain. If root canal issues -- see an endodontist, not Dr. Makarita.

Though the veneers are attractive, as soon as he put them on my bite was completely off. Since these veneers made my bite tighter my jaw began to ache continuously. Also, one of the veneers broke off within the first year! I would not recommend him.

I've gone to Dr. Makarita for the last 4 years for regular cleaning and x-rays. I've never had a problem and every appointment was fine.
One annoyance I had on a few occaisions was that sometimes Dr. Makarita wasn't in the office during my appointment and therefore I solely met with a dental hygenist. I don't believe that treatment solely by a dental hygenist was equivalent to the amount of money I had to pay for the appointment.

I used to be scared of dentists but after a visit to his office, I realize the comfort that was created by Dr. Makarita and his staff. I would highly resomand him

I am a dentist myself, and have seen Dr. Makarita for my dental needs on a number of occasions and have witnessed him working on other patients prior to completing dental school. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Not only is he uniquely competent in all aspects of general dentistry, his work is aesthetically remarkable and unlike any others' I have seen. Additionally, he is keenly interested in staying up to date in terms of knowledge and usage of current dental materials, which is uncommon in the dental profession. It is without hesitation that I would recommend Dr. Makarita for one's dental needs.
