Dr. K. Novik did work on my daughter. Dental work and chair-side manner was fine. The problem was with her asst. I watched as they worked and noticed that the asst. did not use proper sterile/sanitary techniques! Several times, while the Dr.& asst. were focused on her mouth, the asst. would unconsiously wipe her gloved fingers off on her smock and then put them right back into my daughter's mouth! Also, her fingers would go from my child's mouth to gripping the arm of the chair she leaned on, and back into the mouth. When I pointed this out - she denied it, but they also assured me that all equipment involved was wiped down between patients. The final straw was when I saw the asst. wipe her eyes with her latex-gloved finger and then stick it immediately back in my daughter's mouth! I later watched her cleaning up, and the chair she handled during the appt. was pushed out of the way (not cleaned) and then brought back over for the next job. She also did not change smocks. I reported this to the staff & asked them to tell Dr.Novick but this asst. continued working for her and using the same techniques, so we changed dentists.

Dr. Novick's work was impeccable. She made me very at ease and the staff is highly trained and professional. She is excellent with children as well.

Kendra is a wonderful dentist. She is friendly, as well as very thorough, yet efficient. The hygenists at this practice are also extraordinary. My friends and I all go to Dr. Novick and we all RAVE about how wonderful a job she does. I had some chipping in my friend teeth that I was extremely concious about, even though my previous dentists had dismissed it as no big deal, but she fixed it for me and made my teeth look 1,000 times better. I would highly recommend her as well as all the dentists at the practice. It's as enjoyable as going to the dentist can be!
