I have been a patient of Dr. Shek for 17 years and I was totally satisfied with his work until recently when he is trying to hand me off to this son, Justin Shek, as Justin is planning to take over the practice.
Justin Shek is very inexperienced and DO NOT have the knowledge or the practical experience. I confronted Dr. Clement Shek (the father) on some very bad advice I received from Justin that resulted in my recent complicated bone graft,. Dr. Clement Shek wanted to cover his son's error and told me that I forgot what Justin said because I was too upset and it was I who wanted to get the extraction and implant. He also claimed that it was written in the chart, which I have not seen and which is domicile at the practice and susceptible to alternations by him or his son at any time. Dr Clement Shek's dishonesty and attempt to cover young Shek 's error in judgement was blatant.
I can guarantee that if I was truly given all the options by Justin Shek, (JR) why would I rather get my tooth pulled vs. getting it restored?.
It was very sad for me to post this as I have trusted Dr. Clement Shek and have been a loyal patient of his for 17 years. To all potential and current patients, just beware.

Dr. Shek always uses the latest equipment and really takes time with each individual patient. His office staff is quite friendly. Just don't be late or you can expect a call on your cell 2 minutes after your appointment time, asking you where you are. :-)

Dr. Shek is very experienced and friendly. His son is starting to take over some of his patients but I prefer the Senior dentist.
The staff is friendly and helpful

Dr. Shek has been my dentist for over 15 years. He is professional and does a great job!

I have conflicting reviews on Y. Clement Shek and associates. The basic care I received was excellent. The dentist that cleaned my teeth did the best job I've ever received in a cleaning.
What I did not appreciate about this dental office is that they had me come back for multiple unnecessary visits for Dr. consultations and X-rays that could have been completed at time of original visit.
Additionally they fairly heavily pushed a lot of advanced dental work on me (crowns, root canals) that I don't feel I needed. I sought a second opinion from an unaffiliated dentist and he said I did need root canals.
Dr. Shek's team made feel like they were trying to hustle me by performing unnecessary procedures in order to extract more money from me and my insurance company, which I did not appreciate.
As such I would not visit this office again.

Dr. Justin Shek and staff are absolutely amazing! I have never had such an impressive dental experience. They are caring and kind, friendly, and professional. Top notch and I will be referring all my friends and colleagues!

Dr's Shek are both conscientious and gentle. They're great and I recommend Justin to all my friends.
