I cannot say enough good about Dr. Peter Cocolis and his staff. I am TERRIFIED of going to the dentist; I literally quake and have to bring my husband. I have seen Dr. Cocolis on two occasions now. The first time he replaced a broken temporary crown, put on by another dentist, within hours of my calling him on a Sunday evening. The second time, I made an appointment for what I thought was going to be an extensive crown replacement and possible root canal. Dr. Cocolis found a minor problem and corrected it. Each time, Dr. Cocolis and his staff have been so kind to me, taking the time to move slowly and reassuringly

I have known Dr. Cocolis (and his team) for years and am giving them my highest recommendation not only as a dentist, but medical provider. He has personally taken care of myself, my father and our son on three separate emergency situations as well as all of our regular dental needs. In fact, it was when I was injured and my dentist office told me they'd see me on Monday, and Dr. Cocolis' response was 'meet me in my office in 10 minutes' that he won us over.
Dr. C unfailingly conducts thorough examinations, offers clear descriptions of what he has found and the treatment options and alternatives, thus empowering patients to make the right decisions for themselves. And his ability to deal with pediatric patients and put them at ease is second to none.

My family and I have been going to this office for about 7 years. We loved the kindness and professionalism of Dr. Cocolis and his staff. Most importantly, we trusted them and when my husband changed jobs we asked them which insurance company we should go with to ensure they were preferred providers. We listened to them and were completely happy for another year. Then, much to our dismay, they dropped this insurance company, yet we continued to pay out of pocket due to our loyalty, trust, and confidence in Dr. C and his staff. Each office visit began to add up with extra procedures and we ultimately and hesitantly had to seek another provider. We were told by Dr. C my 17 year old required 4 cavities filled, the last visit he had 2. Our new dentist told us he did not have any, just some staining. We were also told by Dr. C my 13 year old required 8 sealants. Our new dentist recommended none due to no pits and smooth surfaces. BEWARE, there is a reason they are all so nice!

I wouldn't normally take the time to do a review if I weren't so thrilled with my care. I just want to highly recommend Dr. Cocolis to anyone who is looking for excellent dental care. Dr. Cocolis and his staff are the absolute best! They are thorough, compassionate, honest and wonderful in every way. Susie, my hygienist, is the best I've ever had. She truly cares and makes sure your teeth are in the best shape they can be. I've never had anyone so thorough yet gentle and always fun to talk to. Everyone in the entire office is extremely friendly and warm. It's the whole package. You can't do any better! I promise you will love them :) Merideth W

I have been going to Dr. Cocolis office for about 6 years now and he and his staff are awesome! When I step in I am always greeted (by my first name) with a friendly face and a smile. The waiting room is clean, comforting and relaxing. They have bottled water to quench my thirst before going in. They even have chapstick to offer! Dr. Cocolis is always nice and has great bedside manner. I have not had major dental work because I have no cavities but for cleanings I would recommend this office to everyone.
About Hygienist: Suzi is my hygenist and I love her. She is very gentle when flossing and always has great conversation. I have no complaints.

My dentist is Dr. DaSilva, who is building a practice in Dr. Cocolis's office. I initially went in for a check-up and cleaning, which was amazingly thorough and meticulous! I had a long running problem with my front tooth which had a root canal 10 years ago and had discolored over the years. On my first visit Dr. DaSilva addressed it and came up with a game plan to fix it, this was not what I was scheduled for and she provided the first service that very same day! This is something that I have been to numerous consults for and never had someone take it by the reins like she did. It was always another visit and never a definitive answer. I am a mother of two and my time is very limited, so this is a quality that is truly appreciated. My tooth is now white and looks great! I would also like to add that Dr. DaSilva is such a perfectionist and really takes the time to explain everything and your options. Another very rare trait today. You are normally shuffled out as quickly as possible in 90% of these other practices. Great practice from the front staff to the back!

Dr. Cocolis is absolutely the best! He completely "reconstructed" my mouth/teeth, and the results are amazing. I now have a beautiful smile that I love to show everyone. Dr. Cocolis was very patient with me, never in a rush, and always answered my many questions in detail. His staff also gets 4 stars for always being friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Cocolus for all dental work!

I have been looking for a dentist in the DC area for quite some time. My wife visited several dentists and had not very pleased. Dr. Cocolis came recommended from a family friend. I was pleased with everything from the facilities, location, and friendly staff from my first visit. The dynamics with everyone from the dental hygienist, dental assistant, and the dentists was inviting and evident of a positive work environment. My family will be using Dr. Cocolis again.

I have been seeing Dr. Cocolis for 4 years and have had a variety of procedures done. Including a new crown, an implant, chipped tooth repair and an extraction. All these procedures went really well and I was very happy with the results.
I love the office staff, everyone is so friendly and helpful. I actually look forward to appointments because everyone is so nice. The offices are spotless and the most modern technology is used. My husband and daughter also see Dr. Cocolis and they also feel that this is a very professional and well run dental practice.
About Hygienist: I have had a couple of hygienists clean my teeth at Dr. Cocolis' office. Each of them did an outstanding job!
